Phantasy Star Fox: Prologue (How it all began)

My name is Jessica Rosetti. I am a orphan Newman from the planet of Neudiaz the main Newman planet. I am 15 years old and I am sort of short.

My name is Fox Mcloud. I am the son of the renown James Mcloud. I'm a adult. I am a fox with the orangish-redish fur and white fuzzy tip on my fox tail like one would normally expect.

I'm about 5'3 and I'm skinny. I have long pointy ears like every Newman. I wear what's called the "guardless outfit" series of clothing for when I'm out on missions? Oh yeah I forgot to mention, I am a Guardian. In the guardians my code name is, and normally what I go by anyways, is "Emrald???." Guardians? We are the soldiers who defend the three planets of Neudiaz, Moatoob, and Parum.

I am the leader of Team Starfox. We are bounty hunters that hunt down evil scum for a living. The military calls aponus for big jobs that they need help on normally. I live in the Lylat system. Well technically I live on the Great Fox, that's the mother ship. We're space pilot trained.

These three planets are in what we call the "Guhral system." What do I do in the Guardians? I am what one calls a Fortetecher. We specialize in Kai. Well some non users call them techniques. Kai is what some would also call Magic. They tried to explain Kai scientifically as the controlling of Photons around us and manipulating them into doing what we require them to do. But it goes so much deeper then that. So much deeper.

The Lylat system consists of many planets. I don't live on a single one of them anymore since I have the Great Fox now. I'm a well rounded person I think. I'm told I'm a decent pilot and a decent shooter and a decent fighter. I haven't picked up a weapon in a while though. My most used gun is a Blaster pistol. It's a hand gun that shoots out lasers.

Photons are the world today in the Guhural system. It's what the Guardians colony, where I live, thrive on, that and all the planets. It's a power source for almost everything. And it almost seems to never end. But also Photons also seem to be the source of our problems. The SEED....

The Guhural System was nothing like the Lylat system! With all the planets and the four races. It was so rich in history and drama! The technology advancement was very simular to my worlds. The closest thing to a fellow fur I saw was what they called a Beast.

The Lylat system was strange. The closest thing I saw to a Kai user was a Telepath named Krystal. Everyone there had animal features. Animals that were extremely intelligent and walked on two legs. The Lylat system had so many more systems then the Guhural system.

Is how we began our adventures....

BEEP BEEP BEEP! Once again Jessica "Emrald???" Rosetti woke up to the sound of her Partner Machine named "Ruby???" buzzing as her alarm clock. She groaned as she groggily looked at the red floating ball.

"Shut up I'm up!" she screamed. She shook her head. She was just 15 years old and she was already going through and doing so much in her life. She was an orphan adopted by CASTs. Mainly a mother named Atlasla or "BU-33S." Her CAST sister was named simply "Frei." Jessica her self was a Guardian a protector of the Guhural system. And not only that she STILL also went to high school on the Guardians Colony. She sat up and groaned in her green bra and panties. She looked at her Partner Machine and groaned.

"Pull up my schedule for today and tell me it when I get out." she told it as she walked into the bathroom, the door opened and closed behind her automatically. Her bathroom was green in various shades, it was apparent what her favorite color was. The only things that weren't green basically we're the mirror, toilet, and the clear but blurry shower door and shower head. She put her face over the sink and turned on the cold water. She splashed some on her face, waking herself up a bit. She looked back up in the mirror. Her Emerald green eyes staring back at her. She picked up her Tooth brush while the water was running. Ugh what a dream! she thought to herself thinking about last night.

Fox was sitting in his bed, just staring at the wall in front of him. His dream had startled him. He had seen a teenage girl. Wearing black and green. The girl was strange, she had no fur, and she had long pointed ears, like an Elf as he had heard in children stories. She just looked at him. He was definitely taller then her that was for sure, she was short. He remembered asking who she was. He remembered her words "I am one that will help you. Me and my friends...You and your friends....We will close the portal....Dulk Fakis...And Andross....Our enemies...They've opened a portal..." That's what she said. She wasn't very vague about the general aspects of it. But the specifics she was vague. Mainly who was Dulk Fakis? Before he could continue thinking he heard a voice around his room.

"FOX! WE HAVE A PROBLEM! GET TO THE BRIDGE FAST!" a panicked voice yelled. He recognized it to be Falco.

"What the hell does he want?" he said throwing himself out of bed, it sounded urgent so he quickly got dressed...

Jessica was wearing her Guardless outfit when she walked out. She sighed.

"Is that it?" she asked Ruby. "I'll report there now." she said as she looked out her window, her one large window in her very green room. Taking in the view of nothing but space for a few seconds. Looking at the stars. She sighed and shrugged as she walked past Ruby. She looked around at her room. There were some oriental style decorations in her room. Neudiaz decorations. In the middle was a floating paper lamp for one thing on her left of that was a red lamp post with oriental style characters floating around it. A lamp post of Neudiaz. She smiled. Today would be a fun day. She'd be heading to the underground laboratory on Parum. The underground lab was overran with native creatures and recently mysteriously activated Robot Units. Little left overs of the Endurem collective. A long disbanded group of CASTs who's goal she wasn't sure of. She remembered hearing about them when she was in Guardians training three years ago. Though she sensed a weird surprise would be in store for her.

"Yes I understand General." Fox nodded looking at a holographic projection of a dog with a droopy face and droopy ears. Brown face black nose, and black ears. General Pepper disappeared. Fox groaned.

"They can't figure out this energy disturbance?" he asked. He saw the old gray rabbit nod. "Why us?"

"He said it's because he think it might be dangerous....It's pushing ships away from it what ever it is and no one can get around it, therefore it's interrupting almost everything, freighter schedules, EVERYTHING." Peppy explained.

"Then why the hell is he-"

"Because we can at least warn the General if something bad is coming out of this energy." Peppy cut him off.

"I have a bad feeling about this..." Fox groaned.

Chapter one: The portal

Jessica was already walking out to the first floor of the guardians colony, she looked at the GIANT  fountain and looked at the people, mostly Guardians, walking around in the time square sort of area. The area was made of metallic white-gray mix strips of metal, but mostly clear glass was around them so one could look around in space. The place was massive. The 15 year old brushed her emerald green hair out of her emerald green eyes. She walked around the fountain and past the palm trees planted in artificial soil. Photons really were the world around her.

Fox sat on his chair in the center of the bridge. He stared at a large hole in space. "What the fu-"

"Watch your mouth!" Peppy chimed in.

"What is it?" asked Fox.

"THAT is our mission....Figure out what it is and then close it." he explained.

"ROB. Send in a probe."

"Affirmative."

Jessica looked at the woman dressed in blue.

"May the holy light be your guide." she said in her cheery voice. Jessica was short and had to look up at her. Jessica nodded and started to turn around.

"Oh! I forgot to tell you." Jessica turned to the lady who spoke again.

"Yes?"

"Atlasla and Frei said they to meet them."

"Why?...How?"

"Your mother is quite strange." the lady with brown hair said.

"What do you mean the probe keeps being pushed back by an unknown energy?!" Fox growled.

"That's what he means." Peppy said. He frowned when Fox let out a frustrated sigh.

Jessica was already on the PPT space ship heading for the CAST planet of Parum. Little did she know what was awaiting her in the underground lab.

Jessica finally set foot on Parum. She frowned. She wasn't a big fan of Parum, though the fleshies here did have great parties. The planet was under the CAST supremacy ruling. The planet was hardly natural. She looked up to see all the flying transpiration cars and taxi's and trucks and the sort. She knew how to get there quickly other then the standard running around the forest...She'd take the Linier line in the west district. Jessica had been here so many times she didn't need to take in any of the scenery around her.  She was standing on metallic ground with once again artificial plants around her. Parum was a very artificial planet for very artificial intelligence. What exactly were CASTs? CASTs are basically what one would call androids. They were robots. Robots who some had personality and some didn't. CASTs were all sorts of colors and had all sorts of names. Some even went by serial numbers. She looked at the platform in the center of the central district that had the benches. That wasn't what she was interested in.

Fox stared at the rift. He groaned. Why him? He walked over to the window on the bridge, staring at it.

"Krystal, anything?"

"Something strange.....I.....Can see...what looks to be...like...another world?" she blinked. "The power isn't here to harm us, though it has deadly potential...." she explained. Her green eyes looking at the rift intensely.

Jessica blinked. "Huh? What do you mean there are no passenger trains to there....Fine....What about a cargo train?" she asked in a rather upset manor. She looked at the cast woman behind the counter. They all looked the same, that was CAST mass production for you.

"There is one....It even has a guardian job opening on it." the cast said blandly.

"What kind?"

"Make sure the cargo isn't stolen."

"In other words babysit."

"Babysitting is-"

"Yeah yeah, fine....When does it leave?"

"Five minutes." replied the CAST.

Jessica grunted as she took her her Guardians ID off the counter. "What train?"

"GRM train A-55." replied the CAST.

Jessica quickly ran into the train station.

Fox sighed. "So basically we just destroyed 5 probes fooooor?" he didn't look amused.

Krystal blinked. "A train....A girl in black and green...." she spoke.

"Huh?""She's walking on a train, it's a floating train, I'd say pretty advanced in technology around our level." she told him.

"What else do you see?" Fox blinked, looks like Krystal was his main source of information.

Jessica nodded. "Alright mom, I'll be there soon." she said putting her hand away from her ear. CAST mothers were so worrisome. She sat on a large box on the train as it started to move, it was basically a smooth transition she knew they were moving but didn't feel it. She sighed. She was already bored and the train already started moving.

    A half hour later the train started shaking, at least her cart. The red lights started flashing along with the sound of an alarm.

"Rouge attack! This is not a drill! Security form up." she heard a bland CAST voice say.

"I guess I picked a good train to be on." Jessica jumped off the box she was sitting on. She held out her hands. Her nanotransmitter responding to her mental thoughts. A large green rod appeared in her hand, it was a rod that had a fan like green glowing section towards the top (see pictures). Her Halarod, her prized possession. She gripped it with both her hands and looked around. "Come out and playyyy." she sang under her breath. "I always like a good warm up.

Soon she got her wish, a window on the car she was in busted inwards as figures started jumping in the window, Jessica was quick to hide behind a box. She'd make a surprise attack.
