starfox87
Note: This is not a canon story. The only one of the kids from the game is Marcus. The other three are OC's. Also, you can critique, but only lightly. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 1 Fox and Krystal were both entering middle-age. However, they didn't dread it. In fact, they were both enjoying it. Fox had noticed that Krystal was still very beautiful, and she noticed that he was good-looking as well. The other pride of their lives were their four children, 17-year old Marcus, 16-year old Vixy, 14-year old Sheila and 12-year old James. Except for having his mother's blue fur, Marcus resembled Fox very much. He was quite active and had a knack for piloting and was attending flight school. He also tended to obsess about living up to his father's legacy. The next child, Vixy, was the reverse. Though she had Fox's fur, she resembled Krystal. Her hair was like her mother's, except that it was a nice strawberry-blonde. Named for Fox's deceased mother, she was also quite pretty and talkative. The 3rd child, Sheila, resembled Krystal almost to a tee. She had her mother's hair and fur and also talked like her a bit. She was also very shy. The final and youngest child, James, who was named for Fox's father, looked like Fox and had his fur. Personality-wise, he was a blend of his siblings. He also enjoyed playing harmless pranks. All in all, they were a happy family, but not without their ups and downs. Like any family, they weren't exactly perfect. For now, it was a quiet afternoon at the McCloud home on Korvara. Marcus attended the Korvara flight academy. While not as well-known as the one on Corneria, the KFA was a good school, and Marcus was an excellent student. At the moment, the school had just began summer break, so the family was just relaxing together. "What are we doing today?" Krystal asked. "Well, I was thinking that we could have a family night tonight. Maybe watch a movie," Fox said. "Good plan. I'll tell the kids," Krystal answered. At the moment, the kids were in the upstairs loft watching TV. Krystal called for them. Vixy was the first to respond. "Yes, Mom?" she asked. "Vixy, call your brothers and sister. Your father has an announcement," Krystal replied. Vixy did as instructed. Soon, Fox was looking at his assembled sons and daughters. "Ok, kids, tonight after dinner is family night. We're watching a movie," Fox said. "Which movie?" asked Marcus. "How does Pirates of the Lylat system sound?" Fox asked. Vixy and Sheila got excited. Marcus and James just smiled to be polite. "I knew you would like it. Now, at dinner time, we meet up. Don't be late," Fox said. "Yes sir," they said as they left. Fox and Krystal turned their attention to beginning the preparation of dinner. Tonight, they would be having a nice, tasty roast. For a brief second, Fox thought back to his old life of years past, when he was the leader of the Star Fox team. Sure it had been an exciting life, but it couldn't compare to the life he led now. He wondered how his old friends were doing. He continued to work. He knew that tonight would be fun. Meanwhile, Vixy and Sheila went into the backyard to relax a bit. Little did they know, however, that James was preparing a prank for them on the balcony above. starfox87
Chapter 2 James filled a water balloon until it was just the perfect size to soak both his sisters. Just as he was getting ready to heave it over the side, Marcus showed up. "James, what are you doing?" he asked. James smiled. "I'm going to drop this on Vixy and Sheila," he said. "You could get in big trouble," Marcus answered. "Don't worry, Marcus. I'll just tell Mom and Dad that you did it," James said with a grin as he walked onto the balcony. When he got there, Vixy and Sheila were still unsuspecting. James lifted the balloon. Marcus stood next to his brother to see what would happen. James dropped the balloon, which hit its targets with a loud splash. Just as the balloon hit Vixy and Sheila, James ducked out of sight, leaving Marcus standing there. Vixy looked up. "Marcus, get down here right now!" the teenage vixen yelled. "Oh, you're in for it now," James said from his hiding spot. "Shut up," Marcus said as he went downstairs and headed outside. By the time he arrived, Fox and Krystal, having been called by Sheila, were outside as well. Their ears were back and they both had disapproving expressions. "Marcus, why did you do that?" Krystal asked. "I didn't. James did," Marcus replied. "Don't lie, Marcus," Sheila said. "She's right. Vixy said she saw only you," answered Fox. "Dad, I..." "No more words. Now, you're lucky I'm in a good mood today. I'm going to let you off with just a warning. However, if it happens again, you'll be grounded," Fox replied. Fox and Krystal took Vixy and Sheila inside so they could finish drying off. Sometime before dinner, very close to dinnertime in fact, Marcus and James were having a talk. "James, you need to stop playing pranks and blaming them on me," Marcus said. "Why?" the younger fox asked. "Because I don't like getting in trouble. It makes me feel like I've lost a bit of Dad's respect," answered Marcus. James looked at the clock. "You know what your problem is, Marcus?" James said. "What?" Marcus replied. "You care too much," "And your problem is that you don't care at all," James smiled and looked at the clock again. "Oh, I suppose you care a lot more than I do that we're late for dinner, for example?" countered James. Marcus began to panic as he began to run towards the dining room, his little brother in tow. "I'm going to be in trouble," Marcus said. They arrived. Fox looked at his sons. "You're late," he said. "Sorry. We got held up," James said. They boys sat down. Krystal served them their plates of roast, and dinner was on. The roast, like most of Krystal's cooking, was delicious. The accompanying vegetables only made it better. After the meal was eaten and the dishes put up, it was time for the movie. They all sat down on the sofa. Fox slipped the DVD into the player, and the movie began. Vixy nearly swooned at the sight of her crush, the handsome jackal who played her favorite character in the film, Captain Jack Swallows. The film had everything: Humor, romance, drama, exciting fight scenes and so on. At the end of the night, the kids all brushed their teeth and got ready for bed, but not before saying good night to their beloved parents. Soon, the whole McCloud household was quiet. However, in the secrecy of her room, Vixy plotted to get back at Marcus. When she was done, he would regret ever soaking her.
