Star Fox Runner
"Oh, back to school, back to school To prove to dad that I'm not a fool I've got my lunch packed up My boots tied tight I hope I don't get in a fight." (If you don't recognize this song watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFy6KabROPk) It's that depressing time of year again folks, going back to school. I have to back on Tuesday, August 21, (thats tomorrow). This is probably a good time to gripe about it so how many are you back in or have to go back soon. PuffNStuff
*PuffNStuff, is a senior!* This is my last year of High School, and being that I did well in past years, i got almost all shop and tech classes! w00t! So with that said, I can say that school is actually going to be "fun" this year too..... Stupid freshies....

Four-eyed Vulpine
I CAN'T WAIT FOR COLLEGE TO START AGAIN. *brick'd* College starts for me again on August 27th, and I move in on August 24th. This will begin the second half of my sophomore year as a Geoscience major. My schedule! Monday: University Physics from 9-9:50 AM, Calculus II from 10-10:50 AM, Masterpieces of Music from 1-1:50 PM, and University Physics Lab from 3-4:50 PM. Tuesday: Calculus II from 10-10:50 AM, Domestic Tourism from 1-2:15 PM, and Methods in Geoscience from 6-7:50 PM. Wednesday: University Physics from 9-9:50 AM, Calculus II from 10-10:50 AM, and Masterpieces of Music from 1-1:50 PM. Thursday: Domestic Tourism from 1-2:15 PM. Friday: University Physics from 9-9:50 AM, Calculus II from 10-10:50 AM, and Masterpieces of Music from 1-1:50 PM. In total, that's sixteen hours of classes a week, so a medium-sized load. I'd rather be in my room studying for my career than working in some hot factory over the summer, though.

Four-eyed Vulpine
It's not so bad, though. College has EXPONENTIALLY more freedom than high school will ever have.
foxbird22
It's not so bad, though. College has EXPONENTIALLY more freedom than high school will ever have. Agreed. Why is it taking you so long for a Geoscience major? I assume you're going after a Master's degree or higher, if it's taking you eight years. (I think I did the math right). Have fun with Calculus II! Integration roolz...Lawlz... Since FEV has put his schedule on, that means I can too! I don't start until September 24, yay me. I'm after a B.S. in Biology with minors in Environmental Science and Zoology. Monday: Inorganic Chemistry (lecture) 9:10-10:20 AM, Evolution and Ecology (lecture) 10:35-11:50 AM, Interpersonal Communications 5:30-7:50 PM. Tuesday: Inorganic Chemistry (lecture) 9:10-10:20 AM, hooray for the only class! Wednesday: Evolution and Ecology (lecture) 10:35-11:50 AM, Evolution and Ecology (lab) 12:10-3:00 PM, Interpersonal Communications 5:30-7:50 PM. Thursday: Inorganic Chemistry (lecture) 9:10-10:20 AM, Evolution and Ecology (conference) 2:25-3:15 PM. Friday: Inorganic Chemistry (lab) 9:10-11:50 AM, I GET TO BLOW THINGS UP! XD Fun stuff. Good luck at school, everyone! EDIT: I said I was in chemistry lecture from 9:10 to 12:20 AM. If anyone can top that for the longest lecture ever, I'll pay you a million dollars! ThatCrazyGuy
I'm going on the 22nd. I'm a high school sophomore! W00T![/sarcasm] (don't see the big deal about it, it's over-hyped at my school for some reason beyond my comprehension) Yeah, so... Chemistry Enriched English Geometry B History Spanish PE In order of interest. Hard time deciding between Spanish and PE. I suck at that language AND I'm a scrawny weakling. Great... I won't be able to post as much. Hopefully I can read stuff, at least. EDIT: To quote the Zoness boss: Oh SHOOT!!! School was today instead of tomorrow. I found this out at like midnight. Don't ask me how or why, it just ended up in a mad rush to get ready on time. At least it was a minimum day. I'm tired. I'm gonna lie down for awhile. Four-eyed Vulpine
Senior of Highschool. Oh, so you've got TONS of fun left to experience, And I do plan on going for Doctorate, though I won't get it right away. After my bachelor's degree, I'm going to try to work at a job in my field for a year to rake some money together, then start grad school. After I get my masters, I'll go back into the field for a few more years before I finally go back to grad school to tackle my doctorate. It's all about the money issue, >.<
Gene Inari
Gah... School for me starts next week. I'm gonna get buried in the books this year, didn't take any electives 'cause I blew off last year so bad. And I got some heavy duty classes like Chemistry and Integrated Geometry/Algebra 2 so I'm just gonna be most of the year. And I'm really kicking myself for not picking a Creative Writing class. I told myself, "I'll take it next year." Bleh, I dun wanna wait now. Oh well.
Guest Chiro-Chan
I don't start until September-ish. =D Granted, I had a summer assignment for English. Fail. Oh well, I finished it anyways. (Except for one part that won't be too hard.)
PuffNStuff
Well, I think I still got one week of freedom left.... So many parties, so little time.... Tech Challenge a.k.a Super Mileage team, is one B.A class! Your goal in class is to build a car that gets well super mileage! Last year we had to build 2 cars from scratch, this year we have to take those 2 cars and basicly re-do them. well I have to re-wire them at least.... Anyways, if you got a class like that and you plan to be an engineer or draftsman, DO IT! You learn so much from doing than just studying from it! (And you will learn just how important dimensioning really is, when u have to make the parts your self!) This year is going to kick ass!
foxbird22
And I got some heavy duty classes like Chemistry and Integrated Geometry/Algebra 2 so I'm just gonna be most of the year. Hah, you think that's hard, wait until college. Chemistry and math only gets harder after high school... Any idea what you want to major in? Gene Inari
...Any idea what you want to major in? I really don't know, I just might follow my dad's steps and be an automotive technician and maybe do some writings on the side. I've done some basic stuff like replacing worn breaks, rotating tires, ect. Hardest I've done was replace a timing belt on a Dodge Caravan and boy that was just a bugger, could barely get my arm down in there, but now I'm kinda rambling. >.>

I prefer to start the week strong and let it trail off toward the end, myself. If it's the other way around, I wouldn't have enough energy left to make it through Friday. Sol-Ratcht Saporro
^ Trust me FEV, there are no cramming sessions with me. I know Human Anatomy like the back of my hand. The past year I focused on all the really tough courses. Physics will be a new direction but since I have calculus background I won't be that much of a deer in the headlights. Besides, all my classes are in 9:00 am-12:00pm range, giving me lots of time to relax for a while then get back on track. I like to study in a small steady pace. Progression is the key. foxbird22
You know what... I have no idea. xD Nothin' wrong with that! I still got another week before I go back. I have another month. Yeah, you just think you have it easy...wait until it really starts. I agree, FEV. I live on nothing but coffee starting on Wednesday...thank God they give exams on Monday and Tuesday, huh? It's funny how everyone talks about weekends, but when it comes to college assignments, there's no such thing as a weekend! :D
Taco-Man
I don't get school until September 5th. Yays. Oh, and I get a crazy schedule.
