Showtime 1-1
I'm perfectly happy with atmosphere, TYVM. If I want zero-G, I'll just nose over more often. That way I don't have to deal with that messy re-entry stuff.

Mr. Krystal
Why's this unbelievable. They've had civilian space flights for years... for the right price.
Sylum
I think that the price is what's unbelievable.
StarFoxIII
200 grand only to have to drink recycled p*** and food in toothpaste tubes? I'll pass thank you. I bet the fillet mignon or lobster dinners would taste like crap having been freeze-dried and put into toothpaste tubes. I'll go for the Carnival Cruise instead thank u. Guest Julius Quasar
That is very amazing, and I'm glad mankind has made yet another "giant leap"...but...I'm sorry to be such a wet blanket, or wet sandwich, or whatever, and at the risk of sounding like some preachy, sanctimonious know-it-all, bleeding heart jackass, I just have to say what I'm about to say in this post...That kind of money, resources, it could've gone to help somebody...somebody who needs, and deserves that money. No, I'm not saying donate to Africa, or places like that, I'm sorry, but Africa and places like that are beyond any redemption...These customers/passengers...they seem, to me, like more rich decadent, self indulgent a**holes, who could've used that money they spent on a ticket to ride, to instead help their fellow man. Heck, there are people in AMERICA, starving...in this day and age,in this economy, these rich pigs have no shame, apparently, if they're going to self indulge like this...people are out of work, home, and food, with mouths to feed, in America, and these rich swine are gonna go to outer space!? I can't help but be disgusted, and angry.I know that money belongs to the rich people, and it's theirs to spend, and what they spend it on is their business, but still.... This project did not "create mass jobs/economic stimulation", 'cause only a select few, like super brain engineers, and the "wrench and hammer" work was done by a select few people who "knew somebody", bedfellow contractors...It's NOT like the mass airplane production of the '30's, pulling us out of the Great Depression. Sorry if this comes off as harsh or brash, but if Auschwitz reopens as a death camp, send these rich bastards there. Thanks guys, I'm glad I'm not alone in this.It is an amazing experience tho, I hate to admit it...but this is not the time to do that kinda stuff, considering the economy's sad state...if this were done in the '80's, or in a time where the economy is like the '80's economy, it wouldn't be so bad....*Plays "The Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats*

DZComposer
Actually, the price for this is much less than you have to pay the Russians to take you up in a Soyuz (NASA won't do it, and the other space programs don't have a reliable manned craft yet). That gets into the millions.
Showtime 1-1
Does this make anybody else here think of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? The motto of the Virgin empire may as well be "Don't Panic", and all their stuff has that really bright, friendly feel. And now they're in space.
