DZComposer
Mr. K posted this on the site, but the awesomeness is so much that it is imperative that a thread be created for it:Basically, it is a mockup of an intro sequence for a Star Fox anime.84EsrskDhbUHands-down one of the best SF fan vids I've seen. This kicks so much ass....lol@ Muscle Peppy XDSNES references are marks of a true fan. DZComposer
The more I watch this thing the more things I see that make an old fan like me respect this guy immensely. The lost ships in the black hole. The lizards floating in space. The before mentioned bird, which whites out the screen. The smiling moon. These are the small, superficial, things that a general Nintendo fan or furry would overlook. So many people focus on the obvious. The cliche. "Do a Barrel Roll!" "Can't Let you do that!" Any /b/tard or youtube pooper can make a fanfilm off that shit. It's the attention to detail. I am in awe.Thoughout the years, the vast majority of SF fanfilms and flashes have been utter crap. This is -F-Bomb-ing art, man. THIS is the Star Fox I fell in love with. There are times where I begin to wonder if I can still be in this fandom. But every once in a while, something like this comes along and reminds me that I still belong here. We need more of this.It isn't perfect. I don't understand the choice of making Peppy muscular (in the games, he has some "size") with a walrus moustache, and it portrays Star Fox and Star Wolf a little to close to eachother for my tastes, but it matters little. This is truly the best thing I have seen in a long time.I imagine there are references to some animes in there, but I am not into anime enough to recognize any of them."Cornelia Park" is interesting. I wonder if this is a translation "error." Cornelia in Romanized Katakana is KORUNERIA. Does this look familiar? This can also translate to Corneria. It is my theory that Corneria was intended to be Cornelia, but the translation was mucked-up. Definitely plausible. We all know the Fortuna/Fichina debacle. I found the throwbacks to the first game in the vid to be AWESOME! You don't see many references to the first game that much anymore, and it's sad really. This proves that Star Fox has some dedicated fans.

Asper Sarnoff
Wow, this is simply amasing! I've seen this guy on DA a couple of times, and have been impressed with his work, but if I've known he was breewing on something like this...All those little details, those small things only true Starfox fans will recognise, it is simply breattaking.I'm not a fan of the music, and I find a ripped Peppy to be a little weird, but that's about it. Guest DRL
I know how you feel DZComposer... I remember when I adquired the game... This was the first time that made me wish to beat a highscore, to be on the top of the list. So far no game was able to make me do that; to the moment, I just wanted to complete a game and leave it on my "completed list", maybe to almost never replay it again... Star Fox was different. I am repeating myself, but, I wanted not only to complete it; but to play it over and over again, to allways discover something new and even after doing it I wanted to play it again and again to see if I could beat my previous score... Star Fox 64 gave me this feeling too... I have not played Adventures or Assault, but I will tell you: Command did not have this feeling.(P.S.: Oh, and guys/gals if you look at the YouTube page, it says: "Star Fox ?Alchemist". In Full Metal Alchemist (an anime my brother is fan of) there is a guy with a moustache who too appears as a muscular... I guess that he used Peppy as the reference because he is the only one in SF who actually has a moustache...)
Guest Julius Quasar
Anime is one of the greatest facets of our generation.I'll admit it's no moon landing, or stuff like that, but...for us...it's still AWESOME!I like Full Metal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop, and Ghost in the Shell.I like how many people do either an homage to Anime like this guy who made this awesome video in this thread, and I even like a good parody/lampoon of Anime"Star Fox and Star Wolf" had to help Butters/Professor Chaos...Slippy get that ninja star out of his eye, or else they would all be grounded!"(A friend of mine is actualy working on a project like that, it pokes fun at Anime, Star Fox, and that episode of South Park that poked fun at Anime...it's not exactly like I just said in my joke, but still funny...I'll link to it when he posts it on you tube)

Mr. Krystal
BTW, guys, the music, style, character-clothing/modifications, locations (with Star Fox modifications), the animations, the posing, and pretty much everything there that isn't directly from Star Fox is directly from the first outro of Full Metal Alchemist. The final part, where Fox is flying through space, I believe is the music used sometimes in the recap segments for FMA (again, similar tone and style).Have a look.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nogH79PPPAU
