DZComposer
A few times this week, I've had to edit posts because people are making long strings of text that SMF can't fit onto one line. This stretches the screen out and the text flows out of the theme.I am running 1680x1050 screen resolution. It's widescreen, and I was still getting scrollbars. I can only imagine what it would be like for, say, 1024x768.This is annoying. If you are excited about something, something like "YEEEEEEEEEEEES!" is enough. Don't put so many E's that the screen gets stretched. If you are going to copy and paste the same word over and over, first reconsider, but if you must, at least put a space between each one so the auto line break kicks in and it doesn't stretch the screen. DZComposer
There isn't an example of a screen stretcher in that post. I won't ever sink to that low.

DZComposer
Try to resize them, but as long as they aren't crazy wide, they're fine. What doesn't stretch on my screen may stretch on someone else's, but something that stretches mine (1680x1050) would REALLY stretch a 1024x768 screen, which is a really common resolution. Basically, if an image stretches my screen, expect your embed to be turned into a link.EDIT: W00t, post #2500

Vy'drach
Well look at Kursed, dude lol. God damned +13k lolOh, and let me two things, just to be crystal clear (Lawl, almost typed Krystal there, too). One, is there a maximum number of content you can fit in a single post, and two, if so, would multiple posting of a long fanfiction fall under the double+ posting category?Just making sure so I don't act upon assumptions. Vy'drach
Sorry, just the topic of long, continuous lines of a single letter reminded me of this comic.

Guest DRL
I have a 1024x768 resolution, so in "theory" I should know when I have messed up a post with long text before an admin/mod spots it.I do not know why but I do not like using larger resolutions. Might be because my eyes can not handle the lettersĀ“ new size (which it is like a miniature of a miniature)....Okay, seriously speaking, I have run into only 1 exageratedly-sized post, but I can tell that it does increases loading times. At least for my acursed conection type.
ThePointingMan
I'm running 1028*726, and I can't recall any stretching other then pictures, I'm thinking mebbe cause the browser I'm using cuts and drops extra text to the next line, I have seen long things of text, I just don't see them go outa my screen. Cough *Firefox is the best even if that's not why I havena seen any screen stretching* cough
