Guilty pleasure

For me, it's the recent games Alien Shooter 2 and the Shadowgrounds games. I love them, but they are so dumb. As someone who likes to think during games, and believes in games as an art form, playing a game where the main appeal is "Hurh hurh. Alien done got shot in face!"for about 10 hours makes me feel bad.

I'll admit I've got a couple of things remicent to guilty pleassures. Not that I hate myself for having them, but rather how embarrising and bejudged it would be if it came out to the public. Not ready for it, not yet.

I'll give that I've got two "weird"(No, not perverted, unusual) fetishes, but I'm not going to tell what they are, and I ask everyone to please refrain from any speculation of what they can be.

I do think everyone have it that way to a certain degree tough.

Not sure how this will be taken by Star Fox fans, I imagine they'd understand it and perhaps share it, but I am a big fan of Harvest Moon, at least the older ones, the ones for PS2+ just seemed... wrong.

Actually, I used to play it when I was younger. Later I became more... "belligerent", wanted things such as speed and/or action. SF64 was a perfect combination of both.

Actually I feel that way when I am playing a game and a character or something happens and I just go ROLF. It could be stupid, or not even "funny" at all, and yet I would still laugh at it. Funny thing about it is that the scene could be scary, or meant to be serious, and I would simply could not stop laughting...  :oops:

Has to do with me being in Southern California, most likely. If you like anything that isn't mindlessly "RAWR! Me pick car up and break over own head because I can," you are considered homosexual. Not that I care what the people out here think, but I just don't go around announcing that I like it.

Good example of it too is when I went to get Battle of Giants: Dragons, simple little fighting game, meant mostly for kids, but you get the ability to customize your own dragon and make it fight other dragons, so I wanted it. I went to Gamestop to get it, and the girl behind the counter looked at me like I was crazy, and I told her I like dragons, and she was just, "Yeah.... whatever" about it. I just looked at her and said, "Can you not see me? I am wearing a dragon pendant, a dragon shirt, and a dragon vest, and this is just how I dress, I didn't do this on purpose, and I have over 80 things in my room alone that meet my very exacting standards of dragons. I don't care if the game is not rated M, if it has me playing a dragon clawing and biting other dragons into submission, I'll be happy." She had one of the best expressions I have ever seen after that, but unfortunately they didn't have it so I had to go to another Gamestop to get it, but that dude was chill about it.

I'm 19 as well and I watch cartoons, even so far as watching Dragon Tales for a time, and when my mom found it, I was just like, "What? It is a show about dragons, how could I not watch it? It's actually funny at times, in a good, clean, simple way."

One of my guilty pleasures right now is manga. In a time where being a senior in high school, and most of my friends are over manga, I still love it.

So I don't buy it much anymore >_> But I do read a lot of it online.

Haven't even heard of that game, but it looks a bit like Drakan: The Ancient Gates.

Well I feel guilty because I DO lie about it, and unfortunately it´s not a pleasure... 

People around here find furry characters either childish or *somehow* related to sex, which is why I do not even talk about furry stuff.

You know, I remember years ago when I used to play DYNA Brothers 2, I did not understand a thing, but I could play the game and get very far. However when someone was entering the room I quickly turned off the TV and/or turned off the Sega.

Watching anime or cartoons at my age of 24 when my parents are around. I find nothing wrong with them, but I get the unmistakable impression that they disapprove even though I know they don't really mind.

I have that same thing, too Mr. K. And to make it worse, it's always the worst part of the worst episode they see, and I always just facepalm through the rest of the episode.

And DRL, the trick is that when your friends find out, tell em what a real furry is. I've had a few friends be like, "WTF!?" about it, but then I explained the difference between a furry and a furvert, and get on em for falling into stereotypes.
