Ok, just for the record, I have seen the MAJORITY of the polls referring to Krystal and Fox lovers, so I am going to switch things up a bit with the lonely chameleon that sits in the shadows of the series.

Leon has been an iconic figure to the Starfox series since his demeanor is somewhat dark and grim due to his assassin-like attitude.  Most of you may disagree with my assumption, but thats what I have forseen his attitude towards most people has been; namely Falco and the rest of the Starfox team.

So, I want the community of Starfox-Online to express your feelings, thoughts, and what not, about Leon Powlaski.  I'm just eager to see what you guys and gals may perceive him as from your personal perspectives.

SF64 and Assault.  The change in voice actors was also quite funny.  He went from an evil gentlemen to a psychotic killer

I wasn't to comfortable when I first heard that new voice of his, but i did get used to it after a bit. though its been making me wonder his actual age.

But his difficulty in the games is well enough for him to keep his spot in the series, pigma however was a different story...

I think he is supposed to be one year older than Wolf.  Fox is one year younger that Wolf, and Falco is the same age as Wolf.  (I dunno where I read that though :D)

64 was the best, in my opinion. He had that deep, dark, badass voice that hinted at arrogance and slightly at being a sociopath.

His Assault voice was.... meh.

...Althrough I have not played

SFAs, so I have to stick with his

64 voice. :!:

Liked him how he was in Assault, but would have preferred he keept his SF64 voice. It would actually have been a lot creepier that way. Perhaps that's why Nintendo changed it. That dark "rapist" voice would scare the younger audience.

Overall, he's one of my favorite Starfox characters, and a key character of the franchise.

To be honest I like both his 64 and Assault voices pretty much equally. He is still pretty much the same character in my view in both games. :)

His Command version just sucked. He is made into a weirdo nut-job, not to mention his design looked stupid. He was as bad as everyone else in the game.

Leon in SSBB was not much better. Sure he looked better, but his voice was just so wrong, it actually sounded funny, really. And his dialogue was trash IMO.

My 2 cents...

I liked him in 64 and Brawl.

It was so funny when he said his special dialogue, i think he was on spice or something in the one i saw.

Totally funny

Pretty much the entire Star Wolf team looked like a bunch of retards, and sounded even worse. As far as what Leon was like specifically, I can't quite recall, but I remember finding him as annoying as Andrew is in SF64.

I do remember his voice from the 64 version, but the majority of the voiceactors for that game sounded like they were preteens or were in non-adolescence stage; no joke :|

Well, minus the fact that Leon had more of a 'mature' tone to his voice and the dialog was just a bit...  cheesey, the Starwolf team's cockiness was quite humorous with Leon bragging about how he was the 'Great Leon Powlaski'.

And, oh yes, "UNCLE ANDROOOOOOSS!!!!"  I just couldn't stop laughing from that line of Andrew Oikinny from SF64

I preferred his 64 voice over the others. His voice was the type that made him sound like a smooth gentlemen, but hidden underneath is a cold-blooded assassin.

I like Leon from Starfox 64, he has a distinguished cultured voice and accent, he reminds me of Sideshow Mel.  :leon: "I am the Great Leon!"

Star Assault Leon's voice sounds too much like Beavis from "Beavis and Butthead".  :leon: "I am cornholio!"

I like the Star Fox 64 version best because he was a complete di@#head.

SF64 all the way, c'mon, the way he says "I think I'll torture you for awhile" in that calm, cool, refined voice is just classic!

ROFL! You're right!

That is a good line, brings out his sadistic side.

I would have to say my favorite Leon line from 64 would have to be: "Close, but no Cigar!" awesome.

My favorite version by far, is Leon from Starfox 64. Let's face it, I think of all the personalities, Leon has actually remained consistent throughout the series (A feat, no doubt!) - it's simply his voice that's unnerving that has changed. He went from a suave, cool headed, and calculating intellectual with a slight dash of superiority complex into a raving psychopath and I have to blame the voice. Unlike the Japanese voice, which has remained that way and brought a different feeling into his voice - by changing it to sound more lizard like and borderline psychotic it seems to remove the charm that was there with Leon.

See this, for a basic idea of the japanese voice. I'm not by any means, saying the Japanese is always but it brings a whole different feeling by the voice itself even if he is saying the exact samething. So overall, the Starfox 64 in the English version is my favorite version of Leon.
