Mine would be the wolf maze in Resident Evil 4. Every time I cleared a path I'd turn around to see a wolf jump on me and rip my throat out

Any escort mission.

I find it quite frightening to stick my neck out for some poorly programmed NPC.

LMAO, one of the levels on Crysis you have to escort your team mate out of a frozen ice sphere. He's freezing to death and you're on a time limit, he takes his time following you, aliens shoot you, he dies, and you have to start over again O_o

I HATE that part. Even though I know all the spawns, I still get spooked.

On topic, the entirety of the Fatal Frame series.

Resident Evil 5's Lost in Nightmares.

Man, when I got to the part when both you and your partner lost all the weapons and we had to kill 4 of these:

Lost__In_Nightmares_new_enemy_artwork.jp

That got my heart going for a good minute or two. There's some more but that's the most recent.

Guest Julius Quasar

Sneaking through the hidden valley to the Katsuyama-Jo castle of Masahiro Hiyamoto in Hitman: Blood Money

Those snipers are in all those towers, they constantly shoot at you, even with your camouflage/guard disguise.

I always end up saying "Screw this!" and sneak through the access tunnel (also teeming with armed guards).

I know what you mean. Even when I knew it was coming, they never failed to scare me.

Another one from that game, when you first encounter the Novistadors, now since I've seen them, they don't scare me, but the first time ever, holy crap.

First Marine mission of Aliens vs. Predator 2, where you're split off from the rest of your team, and there's Predators in the installation with you. They don't attack you directly (but you don't know that yet), but you'll see them cloak and run down a hall in front of you, and see people dragged through the ceiling by their face, only to hear them scream and have a shower of blood come down on top of you, and look up to see the Predator's eyes flash. When your motion tracker went off, you emptied that damned clip in the M4-1A pulse rifle, I swear.

The "Sun Song" sub-quest in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. "The fact that he tried was what disturbs me."

The credits. I don't know why, but credits tend to scare the crap out of me. Maybe it's because that the first time I saw credits, they put a "scare you out of your pants" scene at the end.

Don't think I've been really scared by any video games, especially recently.

There was one exception however... One of the very first games I played, on our old computer, was a 2D platformer of some kind. Not sure what it was called, but I do know one controlled a small space farer named "Ken" trough worlds filled with danger at every corner, searching for parts to repair your space ship.

The thing was, that you had only one life, or health point if you wish. So, touching any obstacle would kill him instantly, and you would have to start from the start of the level again.

And every time you died, there was a very simple melody that played so loud it shaked the very foundations of the house. Duh-duh-DUH Duh-duh-DUH DU-du-du... in rhytm with Ken now being thrown up and down over the screen, quite similar to how Mario died in his first games really.

And that, little Asper thought was very scary. Suddenly getting blown of my chair by that melody. So on the more harder levels, which I was more inclined to getting Ken killed, I got my mother to play them for me.

Not really scary, but I remember playing the VERY FIRST Prince of Persia on an old Mac a long time ago. after the first few levels I was doing fine, I thought I had seen everything I needed to see, then I walk into the next room to see these Chomper blades just hacking away the second you get in the room.

I remember just sitting there about to crap myself thinking, "Now how the heck am I gonna do that?"

Yume Nikki. Just downloaded and

tried that. Dang it!, the stuff there is

To0 StRaNg3.

I told you you'd love it.

I also STILL wet my pants at a PS1 game called Treasures of the Deep. Deep water scares the hell out of me, especially in videogames where it's not uncommon for sea monsters to lurk.
