Oddly enough, I love the 4 countries:(others are not so bad, but you know...)

Germany

Italy

Japan

Great Britain

And 3 of those are post-communist countries.

Every time I watch Fifa I go to sleep. Probably cause I was forced to play soccer and don't care for it. Honestly I don't care who wins.

I never played Soccer ever in my life. But that will change tomorrow.

ITALIA!

None of those countries are post communist....you're thinking of fascism - which is opposite communism on the political spectrum.

I know what post means, but they were never communism countries.  Communism originated in what is now known as Russia.  In fact, during World War 2 Hitler opposed the entire concept of communism and Germany was bitter enemies with the USSR.  Fascism I believe originated in Italy with Mussolini.  As far as Japan goes I'm not sure what form of government they had during World War 2 but it was a dictatorship of some kind I'm sure.

Nazism is a far right winged ideology, while communism is on the far left. :P

That is why Hitler considered the USSR to be

'their true enemies'.

If I recall correctly, the head of the State was

the Emperor, but the head of goverment and ministers

every now and then were replaced by the military (in fact,

most of them were military-appointed too).

I would call it "Imperial Dictatorship", since it takes

concepts from both systems.

After Hitler launched Operation Barbarossa that became known to all.  Hitler had no intention of living up to ANY peace treaty with the Soviets.

Being half-Latino, 'm loving the futbol action. I've got my Spain shades and Argentina shirt, a couple flags, and my brother has an official soccer ball. <3

You know what is funny about it?

One of our top companies is making ads

which is kind of like "well, those who did not

made it to World Cup can cheer for Argentina.

Buy Mantecol and show how awesome we are."

It is quite funny at first, but then... Uh...

The only thing that made me crack up was the candy.

I mean why would a compnay boast about a piece of candy?

Lol.

That is why you 'should buy' it.

Because it is has 'such a great taste'

that the countries out of the cup would

like us to win just because of that.

Yeah, if you think on a logic, it is pure

silliness. :P +

...Althrough speaking from someone

who has eaten it, it IS a kind-a original

snack... Yum.

You know what's really dumb?

Amazon's service.

You know when you order from Amazon, I saw my order arrived yesterday at  some city just 21 miles away, and yet I have to wait 4 days to get it when the entire trip+4 was just 5 days?

Hypocrite.. -.-

I'm not much of a soccer fan, I'm mostly "meh, it's just a sport". I really don't have a favorite team (not even my home country) but I found something ironic, Mexico and Argentina on Round of 16 again, just like the last world cup, I'd rather have Argentina winning since they have what it takes to deal with the nasty Brazil, if they both make it to the finals, Mexico, not so sure, assuming they break the curse and move forward, it's going to be a mostly, impossible road, Mexico hasn't scored that many winnings against any of the other teams we would have to face. It's also a shame to find France and Italy kicking the bucked out so soon, they are normally finalists  O_o.

But anyways, as long as Brazil doesn't win, I'm ok  :P

I am not too much of a football fan,

however it is like the 'greatest sport ever'

around here, so much that nearly every TV

or stuff around is right now on the 'World Cup'

info channel  O_o.

Italy and France... He,he, remember Zidan!

99% of the people in my country will thank you

for saying that. Me too. As I have said already,

politically we are much friends, but on football...

They like to cheat (you now, fake faults, ect.) too much

sometimes.
