Now if only they'd put out a statement so that it's official and not just rumors, then I'll be giddy. XD

Extreme not sure if want. On the one hand, we get a continuation of the story, but we won't be seeing anyone we know and love (it supposedly happens 100 years later) return. This in and of itself can be good or bad, depending on how its handled, but my desire to see the misadventures of Wang Fire and his spacesword is preeeetty damn high, and this won't give  to me.

On the other hand AWW YEAH AVATAR.

I was honestly surprised about this at first. But it made me sad that this supposedly is supposed to take place 100 years after the 100 year war is over, AKA Sozin's Comet. But I'd rather this be like maybe a couple of months after Aang and Zuko ended the war. Because like we were all hoping Aang kicked Firelord Ozai's butt all over the place (My favorite episode :D) and Aang and Katara had their "moment" as we all seen on the final episode. But I loved the series. But this tells us that there might be a complete change to the series, new characters, and maybe even a new Avatar, which I don't want cuz Aang makes being the Avatar awesome and I just love all the characters from the series. I don't want new ones! :(

Wouldn't the next Avatar be from from the Water Tribe? Water->Earth->Fire->Air is the Avatar cycle.

I mostly just want the "handwaved" issues of the end of Book 3 answered. What happens to Toph's family? What happened to Ursa? Will they ever recover Spacesword, or will it become the Master Sword lying in wait in some forest? Will Azula ever be mentally stable again? fffffffff.

How did Iroh go in the spirt world(Its been implied in the series he did).

But I remeber that they said some of the Avatars live to be 100s of years old(I think there was one that was 200) or maybe it will be about the descents of the orginal series.

Well, a sequel to the movie doesn't look very likely, or what do you think

Sorry about the DP. But I heard they used 50 million to make the first one, they have 500 million for the entire trilogy. So lets hope they get rid of M. Night

Because he's damn Iroh, the best character on the show.

But I wouldn't mind a better answer for that too.

The cycle is Air, water, earth, and fire

Also is Aang really the last airbender or are there survivors?

Also people have been saying that there is going to be flashbacks in the new series involing the orginal characters, maybe that will clear up loose ends.

That was a really stupid question, no offence

Why would the show be called Avatar: The LAST AIRBENDER if he wasn't the last airbender?

At the end of the show he is, but he can always you know, rebuild te airbenders. Plus there's alot of rumors that other nomads survived and went into hiding, kinda like that old waterbendin hag from the Bloodbending episode.

I remeber some people thinking that since he knows how do to energybending(What he did to take Fire Lord's bending). He can now give non-benders the power of air to rebulid the air nomads.

I was thinking of something along this line, just because they aren't Air Nomads, doesn't mean they can't be gifted with Airbending abilities. The Airbenders had to learn the ability from somewhere originally.

As for the series, I saw the whole first season when it was first going when I was younger, but then I lost track. Recently, I've reacquired interest in the show, and I've caught myself up on the story, but I haven't seen every episode yet.

If you liked Book 1, Books 2 and 3 will BLOW YOUR MIND.

Yeah in Book 1 I thought it was okay but the finale of 1 and 2 and 3 blew me away.

Hopefully what they say about this new series won't be true, ya know the 100 years in the future thing, :/

Wow a new avatar.

I also heard that Aang is going to be Korra's master, but through the sprit world, like Roku to Aang.
