'Canonization' of Role-Plays (do you?)

Well, after Role-Playing for a few mothns

(few, that is it) on this site, it looks like

people hold different views on the situations

their characters 'have been in'. Some try to

limit it, other players seem to make it canon

almost any roleplay their characters have been

through.

Question is: Do you canonize the Role-Plays

your characters have been in? Some? Almost

none or a few?

I haven't been in too much just yet, but some things (Not all) I consider making canon for the character.

I do mostly the same.

If my character dies, or has been

through a will-die-eventually situation,

I do not make that canon, however I may

make the rest of the role-play canon (or not

canon, depending on the course things take).

I mostly would keep stuff out, unless he makes a bond or something with another character. (Example maybe Zeke from the Hotel) Other than that, I would keep all out, especially a death. Lol

That is a good way of putting it,

I think. :)

Well its kind of necessary for me Since it would be impossible For Sarah to be around at all...

May I ask... Why?

It Started Right around the End of Cornerian Bar 2. There's more talk about it a few pages farther back, But this post and the ones after should explian enough: http://forums.starfox-online.net/index.php?topic=4826.msg221613#msg221613

Oh, okay.

I suppose then you do canonize some

stuff, such as what happened to your

character there.

Other then the Bar there's really nothing mentioned regarding events in other RP's, (But thats mostly because none of them have been finished.)

Depends on a lot of things. But if they fit into the open storyline without too much grinding with official canon, and I like how the roleplay turned out, then yes, I will often refer to them in later roleplays as something that really happened inside canon.

That is another cool way of

putting it, Asper. :)

Depends on the RP.

Some RPs become the entire storyline for my characters.

Others just help me define the characters in a noncanon situation.

Others still I only take bits and pieces from, and rewrite it.

I would say I do that too.

Everything for me. Every thing i type as far as i am concerned, is canonical.

Ruhms death? yes she is dead.

Balsa and Nomine knowing eachother? well? definitivly. Everything that goes from my mind to the board is canon.

The order that the canon is in is up for debate
