Scariest Game Characters

Following Youtube links, I came across a video. "Top 10 scariest game characters" and I watched it, and... well... It was terrible. Of course Uboa is number 1, as outdated meme will make your videos popular. However, also on the list was, to me, stupid things like Andross, The hawk door from Mario 2, Parasite X from metroid, and a potato from Twilight Princess.

So. Who here finds Andross scary, and who would be on your list?

No, from any game. If anyone was scared of Andross I'd like to know.

ohh no, i wasnt scared of him...e was just a power hungry guy who wanted to make his way in the world...kinda like a few dead dictators we all know....

He looked creepy as hell in Adventures, but I wouldn't say he's scary.

Can't really think of any characters that were actually scary. Giygas is disturbing, but not actually frightening. Closest I can think of is the doctor from Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life. Odd as that may sound, dude had a scar across his eye, which was surgically replaced with a Terminator style red glowing one, and I believe he had a prosthetic arm. But even then he was still more creepy than scary.

Probably the one that scared me the most was Reptile from Mortal Kombat 2 when I was a little kid. He'd take off his mask, eat your head, then look at the screen with glowing red eyes.

It's not necessarily his looks, it's what he does along with how he sounds.

I've seen some artwork that makes him a LOT WORSE than a simple face.

okay, actually, a scariet game character i would have to have run inot would be Halo's flood. I was scared of those things back then! But, eventually i convinced my self it wasnt that bad, and i manged to be unfearful of them

I love horro games, but all of them look more gory as to being 'scary'.  So, I really have no judgemental opinion as to which character I believe was my 'scariest'.

I remember a clown from Dead Rising 1 that was...  Quite disturbing on my accounts and to top it off, he dual-welded chainsaws and laughed while he tried to kill you.  The way he died?  Simple, he fell onto his chainsaws and grinded himself to death.  There is a YouTube video of it, but I will not post it since it is too gory and gruesome for the site.

Uboa isn't scary. Nor the rest of those things on that opening list (Hawk face? Phanto kaythanks)

...Actually, I may just have to add my own stupid entry. When I was little, metroids scared the hell out of me. Or rather, Metroid 2 as a whole did, but the metroids themselves were the core of said fear. I had nightmares and jumped/freaked out everytime that scare-chord thing played when one spotted you followed by the (at the time) panic inducing music.

noo....not exactly scary....but intersting to fight; but they do have the habit of jumping at you from some corner you least expect them too!  :lol:

By the mineshaft I was over them, actually. I was paranoid as hell all throughout Ravenholm, though. Their noise is honestly the worst part, they're really kind of harmless.

id have to say the Necromorphs from dead space. I havent ever played that game with out the lights on. EVER

ive played All of the Halflife two and its repective ep1 and ep 2's....i sho those things from far away

By the mineshaft I was over them, actually. I was paranoid as hell all throughout Ravenholm, though. Their noise is honestly the worst part, they're really kind of harmless.

I love their cute little "Wee-nee" sounds as they lunge toward your head, trying to burrow itself into your brain making you into a mindless zombie. As for the poison headcrabs, they only scare when they literally come out of nowhere, but when I see one and approach it and it screams at me, I'm like "shut up!" and shoot it in the face :P
