sjrathbun812
I've heard that some people say that the older games weren't that bad, but the newest one sucks. Mainly because of the stupid Kinect motions and stuff. But what about the others, should I consider getting those? Also, feel free to post about what you think of the whole series and if it should have a new game. I never bought any of the games, but they seem fun. Guest Mr. Nintendo
The original Sonic Riders is fine, I kinda didn't like Zero Gravity (Mostly because the controls got REALLy akward) and the newest one on Kinect. And also, SEGA doesn't need to make another Sonic Riders game, they need to focus on the Sonic games that we liked in the 1990s (Look at Sonic: Generations). Sabre
There is something in gaming known as the sonic cycle. Basicly a never ending loop of getting hyped based on trailers, disappointed when they play it and find it crap, and then claim they will never get fooled again. Part of this cycle is nostalgic enhanced opinion. It hard to explain, so I will put it like this. Sonic Game A comes out and it's bad. Sonic Game B comes out and it's even worse. Fans proclaim Game A wasn't that bad really, but this new game is the real turd. Sonic Game C comes out and it's somehow even worse then B. Fans proclaim Game B wasn't that bad really, and A was alright, but Game C is a real turd. Sonic Game D comes out... So, while I have not played the game myself, don't expect greatness. With the exception of the GBA games (the fighting one isn't bad) assume anything post dreamcast is horrid.
sjrathbun812
I did some reading. Turns out it actually isn't that bad. Here are some links: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonic_Riders http://www.gamefaqs.com/gamecube/929721-sonic-riders/reviews/review-118841 It either got a average rating, or beyond, and comparing that to some Sonic games, that really isn't that bad. In fact, I've also heard lots of people say that it's good. Lots of people said that its biggest issue was either the controls were sort of weird and they took some time getting used to, and the story is bland. But I mean come on, who cares a whole lot about the story unless if it's as bad as Sonic 2006? (Which mind you, it isn't. Sonic doesn't get a retarded girlfriend.) It's the controls I'd be more worried about. And even that isn't really bad. But I understand what you mean.

Prince Elite
I haven't played it, but Zero Gravity's song, Un-Gravitify would later be remixed by Crush 40 and that song was awesome, the original, not so awesome. I'm sorry Cashell, but it wasn't great.
