Milkyway64
(A word before I begin. Review the opening post in the request thread. If that's already gone, then look for the inevitable discussion thread. If you have any questions at all then ask there. Remember to try and keep everything personal hidden from other players. Furthermore, it's on you guys to make this interesting. I won't be leading as much as GMs usually need to past the intro, but rather occasionally steering and observing until the time is right. Good luck, and those who have signed and made a character may begin posting. The discussion thread will be made later listing the cast as they account themselves.) Troubled times plagued SFO, an oddly named city of sorts. It wasn't always bad, but recently something happened to it. The peace slowly disappeared. The order vanished. The streets, residents, and citizens feel into an era of neglect. For the longest while, everyone expected their beloved leader to come save them, but he never appeared. As a matter of fact, a new leader took his throne, and was connected to all of the problems the city were facing. Milky, previously a General employed by the esteemed DZ, was one of his most trusted comrades and his number two. However wise that man was, he didn't foresee his eventual assassination and usurping, and was never seen again. For many years, Milky worked, staying incognito and shrouded in secrecy. In fact, a lot of his activity was done under DZ's name, hence how he was able to get away with having a fortress built in the middle of town, ominous central tower stretching to the heavens. The once fair, airtight security and police system of the town slowly warped to cruel punishers of even the most mundane of crime. Milky had accomplished exactly what he set out to do; he overthrew a government and now sat at it's head, invincible and in charge. And there was nothing anyone could do about it. Present day, SFO is in a slump. Milky's presence is everywhere as he loved having his face and voice known by all. However large his ego was, however, he wasn't blind. There was a resistance cooking. A group of individual sought to end his reign of incompetent power trips, he just wasn't sure where or who. Wearing a full suit of red armor, he talked menacingly into a single microphone that every television and radio would hear, warning all citizens that he'd find the rumored resistance and crush them, citing that his goons were on the hunt. When finished, he spun his chair, confident that there was nothing to worry about. They were only normal people, right...?
Thu'um
James jumped into an ally, narrowly escaping the sight of two patrol officers. Had he been caught out before it would have been ugly. He jumped back on to his route and quickly progresed eager to meet any creature that had the same thoughts runing free through his head.
Fluxy
The wonderful, one and only, Fluxy was over in the same room as Milky, filing his nails with a hum and tapping toes. He had obviously not cared too much about anything that was going on and Milky's speech, but he was there anyways. Milky's chair turned, making Fluxy's eyes brought up to him, and with a quirk of his head, spoke. "I think your going crazy here, Milky. No one here truly gives a damn about your power and shit. I mean, hell. Not many can even do shit about it. At most, I would be your biggest threat logically, and you don't see my back turned on ya." He said, going back to his nails and sighing. "Just come sit down with me and have a drink of coffee or somethin, sexy. Ya need to relax, and not have these bad vibes. Enough of the furries already have them, enough for all of us." He finished with, what he thought, was a small little joke to laugh at.
Redeemer
Warmth and darkness consumed her. She could hear nothing but the sound of her own breathing, her pulse. She was unaware of her surroundings, and somewhat lost, but that didn't matter. Right now, all she knew, all she wanted, was this. As she became conscious, confusion seeped into her thoughts. She journeyed back into the past, attempting to remember. Footsteps... Music... A struggle, pain, the ground. Here. Oh god. Redeemer slowly opened her eyes, their lids heavy with fatigue. A deep blue glow met her sight, and she squinted in pain from just how bright it was. As she adjusted, she took in her surroundings. Blue. Blue everywhere. She looked down at her body, her eyes widened. She cried out, or at least tried to. The sound was unheard from the oxygen mask that was firmly clamped to her mouth and nose. The only evidence of noise was the series of bubbles that escaped the carbon dioxide filters on each side of the equipment. Her body was floating, naturally folded into the fetal position. Several tubes were protruding from her arms, legs and chest, and she wore nothing but a simple hospital gown. And worst of all, she was alone. The silence was deafening. She attempted to move, yet was hesitant incase she tugged on the tubes that were attached to her. She began to feel violently ill, sick with panic, until a muffled tapping noise attracted her full attention. She turned her head, only to see a dark, faded figure. It was tapping on... glass? She pulled herself towards it, placing her hand on the wall of her prison, her eyes full of urgency. The dark figure put its hand up to meet hers, briefly, before wandering away. Redeemer attempted to follow it across the wall, but found that it was actually curved, and was restricted to only a small circle of space. She remained there, floating in that cyan glow, her hair wisping upwards with the current from the equipment. Suddenly, without warning, a heavy clunk met her ears. The water that encased her began to drain, and she was slowly brought to the ground. She tried to support herself on her feet as the fluid abandoned her, but her limbs felt like jelly. She fell to the floor, her arms almost too weak to hold up her upper body. The comfort of the blue was now gone, and in its place, a cruel, crisp white. There was a rush of air from the wall in front of her, and it lowered, exposing her to cold and light. A figure, she assumed the one from before, climbed into the prison with her. He was tall, and slender, clad in black pants and a long white coat. He lowered himself down onto his knees, and placed his hand under Redeemer's chin, gently pulling her face up. He examined her eyes with a small torch, and she pulled away when it got too bright. "It's okay," he soothed, "I'm just making sure you're okay." Redeemer attempted to talk back, or perhaps talk was the wrong word. She was merely making noises at him. This situation was not fitting for actual words. He must have realised what she wanted, and he reached out behind her head, and unclamped the mask. As he lowered it from her face, Redeemer gasped as the lower-quality, harsher air filled her lungs. She coughed, spluttered, then regained her composure. The man stood up, and offered her his hands. She took them, and pulled herself onto her feet. She was unsteady at first, but with his support, she was able to stand. Before she noticed what he was doing, most of the tubes had already been removed from her. She was numb from shock, and unable to feel them leaving her skin. Redeemer's white hospital gown clung to her, and she shivered. The man put his arm around her, and led her out of the chamber. Shadow Matrix
"Nice Speech Milky, but I think that ego of yours is getting the best of you again.. " The tall and well known marine, Daniel Storm said leaning on the wall inside the room. His body already covered in his old black colored marine armor. "But just like Fluxy said, you have nothing to worry about.. This small rebellion, civilians are cooking is nothing special, its something that even a toddler can handle alone. They are just random and weak civilians that have guns but zero experience with them. Same with military tactics... This rebellion will most likely consist of fresh meat and teen minds. We shouldn't be worrying about some non-threanting rebellion myth. You have more personal things to take care of right now. Many people are already depending on you as of right now. " Daniel chuckled. "I hope this rebellion thing is really just a myth. I'd hate to go back on a killing spree like before. " He yanked out a knife and started to carve a demonic mark on the right part of of his shoulder plate. "If someone or something tries to do something against you, I'll take their head and bring it back to you. " Daniel finished his carving and withdrew the knife back in to its case that was hooked onto his waist. "God, this feels like high school all over again. The myths that become rumors and then the rumors that lead up to drama.. I'm done with that school shit already. Why can't things just stay in the past? ICantLose74
James had just walked into the city of SFO after hearing he might find his target (Milky) here and already he felt a tug of hate inside him at the city just thinking about it. "Milky...I'll get my revenge on you if I have to die trying" James thought. James shook his head however and tried to calm himself he wanted his revenge sure but if he just flat out charged at the General he knew he'd be captured and tortured or possibly killed immediately...I mean it was just suicidal to do that, so James would have to wait a bit for the time to strike. All this thinking about his plans for revenge however had gotten hima little frustrated though. He decided he needed something to soothe his thoughts, perhaps a nice cup of tea would do. "Yes that might work" James said softly as he walked into a nearby cafe.
Thu'um
(i'll be James C since we both used James XD) James C entered through the back door of the cafe. He winked at one of the waiters and sat down. He went on to sit down and quickly was attended to by the same waiter. " Any knews about a milky ressitsance, any one who willing to fight him?" he said pretending to order. Xortberg
Meanwhile, in another corner of the cafe, a small group of men were playing an intense, high stakes game of Go Fish and speaking amongst themselves as they did so. "I just don't understand it. Why would you enjoy a show about little pony girls living their girly lives?" one scoffed, before taking a swig of his drink and continuing. "Got any twos?" "Go fish," Xort replied calmly, lounging easily in his chair. "It's simple, really. It's a good show. Good animation, voice acting, great music, clever writing..." He paused a moment to let his point hang before continuing. "And not to mention, Fluttershy is absolutely adorable. Got any aces?" he asked the short man next to him, knowing full well he did. "Yeah, take it," the short one grumbled, throwing the card down. "And animation schmanimation, it's still a cartoon for little girls!" Xort chuckled. "Be that as it may, I like it, and I'm also out of cards. Looks like I win." Gathering up his earnings, he stood up and placed his trilby upon his deceptively large head. "Well, gentlemen, it was a lovely chat. See you later." With that, he laid some money on the table to pay for his drinks and turned to leave through the back door. Just as he reached the exit, though, he heard a small snippet of a conversation that couldn't help but pique his interest. "...Milky resistance, anyone who is willing to fight him?" Glancing towards the voice, Xort saw that it was a large-ish mouse, speaking to a waiter. Oh, damn. Is he a spy, or is he just interested? Either way, someone asking around like that is bound to cause trouble. Turning back away from the exit, he strode towards the mouse. "Excuse me, sir. Mind if I have a seat?" Milkyway64
The general turned, shutting off the PA system. "I am doing exactly what's necessary, sir. I have to cover my bases. All of them." He stood, walking past the other man and stopping beside him. "My apologies, but as much as I'd love to have a drink, I have something I must be doing. A project of mine should be finishing soon, and it's important." He took a few more steps, yellow cape tracing his path inches behind him before another stop. "And by the way, that comment about being a threat to me was quite... unnecessary. Hm?" He restarted his pace, leaving his personal chambers in Fluxy's soon-to-be-well-filed hands. Fluxy
"Blah blah blah, whine whine whine. Can't take anything fun, can you?" Fluxy said, pouting a little as he got up and stretched. "Oh, look at me!!~~~ I'm The General, and I'm here to save you money on car insurance!" He added, using a sarcastic and rather humoral tone and then waving his hand off with a sigh of anger. "He's no fun anymore, and never wants to talk to me. Swear, I mean, the best thing I can do now is sit in his chair." And then, the evil grin of awesome sillyness hit him. Not taking a moment to think of it, Fluxy leaped into Milky's seat, laughing hysterically with fun as he spun around in it. "Ha! Shows him to think I would actually be a threat." He said with a laugh, tossing his nail fillier around. "He doesn't even realize that I don't even give a shit, really. I have no initiative to do anything. He -really- needs a chill pill, with a capital 'Q'." He said, closing his eyes and leaning back. "He should be happy I don't use this PA system to make a funny announcement." Shadow Matrix
" Fluxy, you should know during these times no one has any time for jokes and fun. Not even Milky himself. Since hes control now, he has some serious matters and business to attend, and you making jokes isn't really going to get anything done. Also keep in mind, the kind of "talking" you want Milky to give you is just a waste of time to him. As of right now, if you know how Milky is and how busy he is, you know you should just sit down and remain quiet towards Milky until acknowledged by him. Do what I do, relax and stare off into space, or in your case, stare off into your filed nails. " He soon descended from his leaned position and sat on the ground, putting his back on the wall. "I never witnessed a nearly mid aged animal acting the way of a nine year old toddler.... You have the appearence of an old animal, yet you have the mind of a kid.... How disappointing... Redeemer
Red was pushed into a chair. The scientist checked her blood pressure and pulse, and then held out some cards to her. He was a handsome man, but there was something odd about his eyes. He looked like he was always on the lookout for a crack in her defense, something to pounce upon. "What does this say?" he asked. Redeemer could read it. It simply said "the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog". She opened her mouth and took a small breath. "Ah... Hm," she stopped, and a bemused experssion blushed onto her face. "Take your time," the man encouraged, "You've been asleep for a while so your vocal chords haven't been active." "Sl...?" "Sleep, yes. We've been working with you for a month now." Red swallowed hard, and attempted to take in what she had just been told. A month? But it only felt like a few hours. How was that possible? "You see, Redeemer," the scientist raised his eyebrow upon mention of her name, as if he knew of her rebellious plans for the city, "We work for General Milky. Now don't be alarmed, you have nothing to fear. He thinks you would make an excellent right-hand." "N... No," Red pushed the word from her thoat. "Oh but it's a great opportunity. We need you. Ah, let me start over. I am Doctor Mercer. I'm the lead scientist in this laboratory. Here, we work for General Milky on biomodification and mental training. Some of his closest allies were... made, for lack of a better word, in this very room. And we think you are the perfect candidate for the empty slot in Milky's order. We need you. You can do much more good here than you ever could in your little "resistance". We can help you reach your full potential." "I... No," Red protested, which took more energy and concentration than she was comfortable with. "But you must see, Redeemer, you can do such wonderful things for the city with us supporting you. I believe that your group and ours got off on the wrong foot. We both have the city's best interests at heart." "L...iar. Liar." "Oh come now, we are resorting to name-calling? You're above this, surely." "You're lying." "Ah... I can't see this working out. Do you have any idea how much money you'd make by just taking a couple of orders? It's crazy." "I want... to go home." "Oh, my dear..." the doctor gave a long, exaggerated pause with a pained expression, "We're clearly not on the same page. I'll need to fix that." Mercer got up from his chair and motioned to another couple of scientists. "Bring me a case of M1L-K7 and a syringe," he ordered. Redeemer sensed the danger she was in, and pushed back in her chair in an attempt to stand up. However, her legs gave way, and she fell with the chair, only to be then seized from behind by another scientist. She struggled, but it was no use. Her body was patheticly weak. She watched in horror as the doctor attached a sugical needle to the syringe, and filled it with a clear liquid. He approached her slowly, almost sympathetic. "Now," he soothed, "Just try to relax. This will be over in less than three seconds if you just give me your arm. Hold her."
Fluxy
Starting off rather silent, it was quite for a good few seconds. And that was as long as Fluxy could act like he cared. "BWAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!" The human laughed, still spinning in the general's seat. "Surely you jest, oh wait, are you serious, hold on, no, you must be joking, do you know who I am?" The Human looked directly into the poor poor souls eyes, wiping a tear of laughter from himself with a evil menacing grin. "I am a mother fucking beast." "Oh, woe is me~~" He started talking sarcastically as he stood up and pretended to look like a fainting woman. "Milky is the overlord so I have to take advice from the peanut gallery, because surely they see what I don't, and know what is right." Fluxy rolled his eyes and straightened up as he looked at him again. "Seriously, bud, let me fill you in on this little ol' Hierarchy of how shit is ran." Pulling out a large chart, and setting it out on Milky's desk, throwing all of Milky's stuff on it to the side to make room of course, Fluxy pulled out a laser pointed pen, and pointed at 75% portion of the pie chart labeled 'Fluxy'. "Now, as you can see, that name, is CLEARLY, not you, and shall never be you so long as I live. I am much smarter than Milky, and more than likely in many ways a much better debater. Why is he in control? Because he trolls the shit out of people, and I simply laugh my ass off and watch. He is 'all powerful' because I am too lazy to kick him out of office." He then pointed to a part of the chart that was 20% and was labeled 'Milky'. "Now see, although I am mightier than him, he still holds power; Lots of it. Trust me, he isn't a threat to me, but he is still a threat to idiots." "And don't even bother with the last five percent, as you aren't anywhere in it." FLuxy said with a confident and cocky shrug. "But hey, what do I know; I'm just some guy, having gorgeous nails, and more than enough power to kill you right here and now..." He said, hiding the devilishness grin on his face. The human then walked to the wall, facing the man, placing his arms up and smiling. "But hey, I'll give you a small chance to prove your worthy. Come on... You know you wanna kill me and show Milky how much a good guy you are. What better way than to prove it by taking out me?"
Nope.
- "Hah... I'm going to die from boredness here. Wait... is it even possible to die from that?" Sergiroth was walking in an alley of the city, bored out of his mind and, not surprisingly, complaining about it in his head. - "Why didn't I stay at home? Right now, I'd be drawing some cuddly, busty, anthropomorphic female skun-" Suddenly, Serg's train of thoughts was interrupted by the sight of a cafe not so far from him. - "Yaaay, a Cafe! Wait, am I so bored that I just screamed 'Yay' in my head at the sight of a Cafe? Dude, that sucks." After saying that to himself, he finally entered inside the building. The first words he heard as soon as he was inside the place caught his attention. - "...about a Milky resistance, anyone who is willing to fight him?" These words were spoken by a mouse that was now being approached by another guy. Sergiroth looked at the two for a second, thinking about what to do. A "Milky resistance"? Wasn't that what he was searching for? - "Amazing..." - He thought. He decided to walk toward them. As soon as he was near the two, by using a really calm tone of voice, he simply said... - "Gentlemen?"

ICantLose74
James strolled into the cafe casually and looked around. "Nice place he thought...it soothes me a little" I knew this was a good idea coming in here Jams said as he sat down. As he sat down he over heard one word from the person behind him "Genetlemen" and than he immediately chuckeld at the thought of the joke, James felt a little better already. He dicided he'd listen a bit in on the conversation at hand behind I mean he had nothing better to do. He waved a waitress down and ordered a coffee, while slightly listening to the conversation at hand.
Milkyway64
The General loomed into the lab. A doctor brushed past with a used syringe. Just ahead was another doctor and an unconscious girl. "This one died too, huh?" "Oh no." replied Mercer. "She was a success. We just knocked her out again with the drug." "Excellent. Revive her." "But sir-" "Walking all this way is a chore, I want to see some progress." The scientist shrugged, unsure of what to do. He shook the girl a couple of times, then raised a finger. He stood and left, coming back with a cup of cold water and splashing it into her face. She jerked awake, shaking her head. "Ah, perfect." Milky commentated, kneeling in front of the chair. He took her chin into his cloth-lined hand, looking into her dilated eyes. "Hm. Can she talk?" "Yes." Mercer replied. "She was resistant at first, that's why we-" "Who am I?" Milky cut him off, addressed to the girl. "What does the resistance mean to you?"
Redeemer
Red awoke to a fuzzy image and dim light. She jumped a little, shook her head and wiped the water droplets from her face. A strange man was kneeling next to her, although she already knew who he was. He took a hand to her chin, and tilted her face towards him. The contact of his fabric gloves on her skin made her stomach flutter for a second. "Who am I?" he asked, "What does the resistance mean to you?" "Absolutely fucking nothing, General," she whispered. Milkyway64
"Gooood. Very good." He stood again. Mercer shrugged. "Show her to her quarters, get her ready. In truth, it was just to the nearest breakroom or other such site of a refrigerator for lunch.
Xortberg
Aww shit. More people means more danger. And either one of these guys could be bad news. Xort pursed his lips as he quickly ran through his options. After several seconds of intense internal debate, he glanced at the mouseman across from himself and surreptitiously held up a single finger - an unspoken "Wait a moment while I figure out what this guy wants, and if he's cool - and unlikely as it is, if he's interested in or is a part of the resistance - he can stay and then we'll talk about it. If not, we'll deal with him until he leaves." As it was an unspoken message, and quite a long and specific one at that, Xort was uncertain just how much of it had been successfully conveyed. Still, hoping for the best-case scenario, he proceeded to stand up once more and tip his hat to the newcomer with a succinct, spoken reply: "Gentlementlemen?" Redeemer
Red watched the General leave, and longed to follow him. She had no idea why, she simply wanted to be in the same room as him. She almost whimpered as he exited the doorway. "What did you do to me?" she snapped at Mercer, "Why do I feel..." "Feel what?" Mercer grinned. "I don't know..." "Allow me to tell you why you're feeling such infatuation. We educated you." "Educated me? About what?" Mercer's grin theatened to tear his face open. He was deligted to see her memory of the injection was non existant. "Well," he mused, playing off of her emotions, "Since you excelled at our tests, the General came down to see you himself." "Tests? I don't remember sitting a test." "Of course you won't, you were asleep when we did them. They were tests on your physical and mental condition. And you really impressed the General..." "I did?" "Oh yes. He said you were the best candidate we've had so far." Redeemer paused for a second to hide her pride. Mercer seemed smug about something, but that was probably because he was proud of his work. "Well then, little lady, let's get you dressed and ready for the meeting," the doctor chimed. He led her room, which was quite a walk away, and gave her back her clothes. She got dressed, and fixed her hair in the mirror. Once she felt comfortable, she stepped out, smiling. "I'm ready." Nope.
He already heard that one, but he didn't see it coming now. Sergiroth suppressed the laughing with a smile, and then, he simply replied back. - "Mentlegen." Removing that smile from his face, he continued talking in a low tone, making sure that no one would be able to hear him aside from the two. - "Hope you guys don't mind my presence, but what I just heard particularly caught my attention. In a good way." He was risky to talk like that with two strangers, but he thought that it was worth trying. Hey, at least he will find something different to do, now or later. Without waiting for an affirmative, he sat down and motioned for the newcomer to do so as well. Leaning in close to the two, he said in hushed tones, "It's dangerous to discuss this out in the open.
