Icy
Just what the title says. What's your speed? The best site (in my opinion of course) to test this is speedtest.net. Mine: My ping is normally <40. So the numbers above mean that when downloading something, I should be able to download at a steady 2 megabytes per second. When you see "Mbps" or "Mb/s" or "Mbp/s" regarding your Internet, it usually means "megabits" per second, and 1 megabit = 0.125 of a megabyte. And the second [upload] number means that when uploading something (like a video) I should get a steady rate of 600 kilobytes per second. 1,024 kilobytes = 1 megabyte. So 0.6 of a megabyte. To sum it up, megabytes are easier to interpret. I like my Internet's speed. [/Me being geeky] Post yours! ;)

Nope.
ADSL: Making Upload Speed suck. Also, Italian's Internet services have the habit to be ungodly bad sometimes. I don't even think this test is totally correct. I can state that both my Download Speed and Upload Speed are actually higher. And I'm not blaming the site. Stupid Rome server. :V

Gene Inari
I think mine sucks the hardest lol Isn't Hughes Net that satellite DSL BS? Claiming they give you DSL speed while in actuality they screw you over with atrocious latency and intermittent service whenever there is so much as a single cloud in the sky. No wonder your ping and internet in general is horrific.

"User"
In this case ping is how long it takes you to connect to the closest speed test server. As for me. Ping 18 ms 30 Mb/s download 1 Mb/s upload I did this in the morning before I went to work but didn't have time to post it up and right now I have a bunch of other necessary apps hogging bandwidth so I was only able to get it up to around 15 Mb/s download. Also, for the record, upload speed really doesn't mean anything for the casual Internet user unless you regularly upload decent size files. Download speed is pretty much the only thing that matters. I'm thinking of upgrading to a 50 Mb/s download speed after I move.
Dublinthefox
Not sure what I think about mine. Then again I've always had great internet speed on my iMac. For some reason for the past few weeks my internet connection has been going on and off repeatedly. Usually it only lasts about 5 minutes or so.
