I think this was posted in the Mega Krystal Fanart thread. I still like it. No major complaints (and coming from me, that's a good thing. :o )

Yeah, that's surprisingly good. Still needs some work, but that just takes time.

I am unfortunately very poor at critiquing art. And in fact, I can't really pinpoint what it is, other than to say something in the area above her boobs, maybe her face, isn't quite right. Sorry I can't be more specific.

You have a nice drawing there, but I have a few things to point out for ya:

The tail is a bit long, the groin is either a bit too wide or the legs are too thick, her shoulders are quite a bit unnatural... they need to curve down a bit, the arms are uneven (the left arm is way too long with where it's angled from), the arms look a tad noodlelish, the neck may be a tad too thick, and if the right hand's fingers bend like that the left hand's fingers need to bend like that too... Yeah...

Without critique you aren't going to become a better artist, you'll stay pretty much stationary skill wise.

well i prefer a more positive stlye of critique, i like to hear whats good about the pic AND what has to be improved, too much negative and critique just frustrates me over time

Well yeah, you don't want to hear, "it sucks, this is crap" etc. But something like. "This is good, but would be better if.." and such. Isn't there some sort of rule like that here?

She's naked *smack* What? Very nice, the hand looks a little big though, just a little bit.

Also I've noticed you have a very "Sonic" style of artwork, I guess since I don't know Sonic the Hedgehog as well as Star Fox.

Negative critique kicked me out of the newbie stage, hard. Every artist strives to become better, if we become flattered too much we become content and we don't become better. I've learned this from my mentor.

You have to remember that not everybody will be nice when critiquing.

As for your other one, much better, but I still think the shoulders seem rather awkward.

If you can't handle critiques, then you need to stop posting artwork where people can see it. That's all there is to it, and it goes for any sort of creation.

As for the second pic, I think it's either the proportions of the face or the shoulders, as Infinity said, which caught me off-guard with the first piece. I'm pretty sure it's the face though. I just can't tell which part.

I will say I like the second one better, though.

you guys have been the only people who critiqued my work in a VERY long tiem. Everywhere else, my artwork is met with praise.

i dont mean to be rude, but u have to start listeing to the critice, i used to ignore it, i thought i was good, but something shot me down and it hurt. Trust me, Criticing makes you strong and imrpoves your style since you get alot of positive (if sometimes negative) feedback to gain from.

I won't claim to know everything, but being surrounded by people afraid/unwilling to criticize you is a serious detriment. You need to be able to deal with adversity, and overcome it. Trust me, this is all for your own good.

And honestly? You really aren't that bad. Having a decent overall presentation allows the viewer to then begin critiques on smaller details. Nitpicking, to some extent.

Just take into account what you hear, with a little salt, and synthesize it into your next piece. BAM! Instant improvement.

Whoa... those two pictures rock! ^_^

You're definitely awesome at the coloring part. Your drawings seem to look more... "cartoonish" I guess, than mine. Which is awesome, cause I've never really been able to get that effect when I draw!

Good job on those two! =D

And welcome to StarFox-Online, if anyone hasn't said that yet...

Well, these keep getting better. I know what it was now that I had noticed before: I'm fairly certain the necks in the two previous pieces were too short. You fixed it in this one, and it looks significantly better.

The fingers need a bit of work (it seems this is a really hard part of the anatomy to do, for anyone), and her mouth/nose is a bit off-kilter. I'm pretty sure that second point is just from this picture, though.
