It basically lets you use your voice with everything, and gives you voice responses... then some guy placed GLaDOS' voice over top of it.. the result is pretty damn believeable! She actually sounded sentient in Portal 2. I agree, I did like her better in Portal 2. If you noticed she sounded more sentient in Portal 1 after the morality core gets taken off of her.
