Yah, I'm a Tetris DS freak and I wanna challenge whoever has it.

Like the MKDS topic just put your friend number and your name, As well as your wins and your rating. (Just to see what I'm up against). I love a good challenge!

Tetris DS....It's not just for old people.

I have Tetris DS, but sadly I don't have a friend code yet. :P

Sure you do! Did you check right after you went into wifi to "Confirm Friend Code"? That there is your code. Orrr....have you ever logged on to Nintendo wifi in general? You have to register your game card and DS system first and then you get the code.

I love Tetris DS. I just have to complain aboutsomething, though. In the old Tetris, I could barely get to level 9, let alone beyond. TDS, though, I've had the well empty going on 1100 lines. The fact that the pieces don't lock if you're spinning them has saved my bum a million times, but it makes the game too easy, IMO.

Push Mode, though...is hardc0re.

I think they spread the levels out more to make it easier. Man, the highest I got was level 17 for standard. Pffft...... The thing that has saved my butt as well was t-spins and quick shifting.

I LOVE touch, catch, mission and puzzle mode. They Rawk! I'm trying to learn Push mode. I hate if a piece can't fit, it goes straight down into the pit. A lot of the times I have to rely on my opponent. That's why I suck at Push mode.

The truly awesome thing about Push mode? Saving your straight piece for when your opponent screws up and leaves a base at the bottom of a one-unit hole...then slamming him with a triple Tetris.

A tip: always set up for a Tetris, save straight pieces frequently, and never have a square in reserve for too long unless you have to. If the computer's any good, he'll try to avoid giving you a base for your long piece to land on. Keep him busy with L-pieces, since they're easy to clear to both open the hole and keep him from Tetris-ing the hell out of you.

Touch is...okay. I really like the Touch Puzzles, but I'm terrible at setting up combos for Standard Touch. Freeing the balloons with 800 points =/= good.

^Yah, It's totally fun! :P I used to just play Tetris because it was free with the first Gameboy, but Tetris DS really made me into a Tetris Freak. It combines the sexehness of Tetris with a lot of Nintendo classics like Mario, Metroid, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Balloon Fight, Yoshi and short cameos of other classics (Ice Climbers, Excitebike, Eh....that old fighting game)

@Kal: I used that save the straight piece strategy A LOT(Not just for Push but for Standard). The reason why my ranking is pretty high and I actually get the hang of Push mode. So, a little more practice and I can actually challenge people for Push mode. :D

Thanks for telling me how to get to my frend code, and no I haven't been on Nintendos wifi yet. The only place in my town that has the service is Mc Donals and I valed never to go there again after I saw that three inch cockrooch walking on top of one of the tables. I'll check and see if there is any where eles that has the wifi.

^ DAAAAAAAAAAAAYUUUUM! Okay if I saw a three-inch cockroach (let alone a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach), I'd scream like a little beeyotch.

But, do you have a broadband connection? If so, try to get a broadband router so you can have wifi at the comfort of your own home.

Or alternatively, you could just get a Nintendo WiFi adapter for USB, you can use a 56 k modem and it won't lag, I know because when our quota runs out, we get reduced to 56k speed and WFC still doesn't lag.

Forgot about that one too. ^_^ I didn't know you could use it on 56K? News to me. But as the Wii comes out I wonder can you use that with it too? That's why if you had the broadband connection I recommend just a regular router. But if you don't try the Nintendo Wifi USB Connector like Fox of Fire said.

I do have a WiFi system in my moms store, and I saw one of those Nintendo Wifi adapters a Target last night when I left. I was going to get one but there $40, so I'll save and wait.
