QI

Just have to share this with... someone.

I'm very, very picky about what I watch on TV. In fact, there's only one show I've previously regularly watched, Top Gear. That was until I discovered Quite Interesting, or QI for short. If you like me are a sucker for "useless" information, this is something you'll absolutely love.

Basically, it's a comedy panel show quiz game. Most of the questions are... eh... rather obscure, stuff which very few people would actually know the answer to. As a compensation for this however, besides getting points for correct answers, one can also get points for interesting answers. One's also deducted points for answers that beside being wrong, are also commonly believed to be correct. Sounds complicated? Believe me, it's a tonne of fun watching.

This is my favourite show. So funny yet informative. Everything Stephen Fry says is gospel to me.

General Ignorance was the part that always got me. And Alan Davies? Don't even get me started. Last place with -84 points...

I have the General Ignorance book, and I can tell you there are 613 commandments in the Bible, there are 2 moons, and that 7 sheep went onto Noah's Ark.

QI is such a brilliant show. Thoroughly enjoyable and at times, utterly hilarious. I want to share a classic clip where Stephen has trouble saying what people say of the Acropolis where the Parthenon is, to which all the guests and even the audience rip him mercilessly.
