FoxMcCloud
A link to read the comic is available here. EDIT: Was a prequel comic before Starfox Adventures in Japan. Thank you Rob for correcting me!
Robert Monroe
This was one of the comics that was in the Nintendo Power magazine. for others who have not read it a link is available here. No, its not. Farewell Falco is a Japanese-only prequel comic to Starfox Adventures. inb4Dermotjokes

Fox_McCloud2011
I use to, but they were thrown into the "don't need this anymore" pile. I still remember some of them, and thought that most of them were good, though, a few were bad, just a few. I highly recommend them. I f you can, read them. :)
"User"
I just read the comic for the first time. It's not that bad.

Drasiana
It's probably my favourite of the comics, actually. It had actual character progression, a proper balance of seriousness and Star Fox-esque camp, gave us some insight to the characters and had some pretty cool fight sequences. I wish there were following comics, or the games followed in its footsteps in terms of art style and atmosphere.
Dublinthefox
Apperently the comic came free with Star Fox Adventures in Japan. If only I could say the same for everywhere else. <_<
Drasiana
Yeah I kind of wish they'd distributed it here I wonder why they didn't? I mean, we had a bunch of other weird Adventures promo stuff (like TOILET PAPER) but not the official comic?
TCPeppyTc
@ Dras. The toilet paper was for those who disliked the game. I just read the comic. I feel it was good, but it may have been to faithful to the Japanese origininal. Too many strangely translated words, and Peppy seemed unusually harsh and dour. Im just wondering... Drasiana
Yeah some of the translation could probably be reworded and I agree Peppy was somewhat out of character, but they pretty much nailed everyone else and it's not so bad considering the OOCness of all the other characters for the following games There were also Adventures air fresheners, door hangers and sodas and i may or may not own all of these. Show us the soda, Dras. Right now. Also if anyone could give me a blank comic, I could maybe look to re-writing/wording the dialogue so it's not so literal :D

It came with a door hanger, air freshener, 1 Krystal and Fox temporary tatoo, and a bottle of Jones Green Soda, relabeled as "Fox Fuel"
TCPeppyTc
I wonder if Peppy was really out of character at all. Maybe his characterization was different in the American and Japanese games. Maybe in the Japanese games his commands ( do a barrel roll, try sumersault) he was more like a dictatorial sensei than the uncle type he was in the American version. Also I feel they should have explained more why falco and fox did not get along

The translation isn't too bad, but they used Comic Sans and the formatting and punctuation kind of derp from time to time. The dialogue can be a bit corny, but...this is Star Fox. Also I feel they should have explained more why falco and fox did not get along Interesting theory on Peppy, though he didn't appear that way in Adventures, Assault or the SNES comics. And I'm guessing Fox and Falco were having arguments because Falco is an independant hothead with no patience for others :P
TCPeppyTc
And the SNES comic was written in japanese prior to English? I have read part of it online. The dialogue and premise reminded me very much of TMNT ( maybe just reflection of early 90s) Your probably right on falco. Have you ever seen youtube cartoon video of him being mean to the other team members?
Robert Monroe
Dras, where did you get that. Why do you have that. How do you have that. And I asked for a blank comic (all the words baleeted) but I suppose I could erase it myself, derp.

The dialogue and premise reminded me very much of TMNT ( maybe just reflection of early 90s) Oh yeah I totally forgot the part where Star Fox was formed thanks to radioactive waste and then they went to fight the Shredder while eating pizza pretty sure it was in English to begin with because its original run was in Nintendo Power Your probably right on falco. Have you ever seen youtube cartoon video of him being mean to the other team members? Gonna have to be more specific there, but I HAVE seen him be a dick to other members. You know, in the games. Dras, where did you get that. Why do you have that. How do you have that. eBay and a sad devotion to Nerd Honour. I have tons of other Star Fox crap just laying around. And yeah I would have linked you to a blank comic if I knew where to find one :V

TCPeppyTc
@ Dras. Haha very funny. I just feel that the fact starfox were anthropomorphic action heroes who said cheesy cowabungaesque lines. I forward video of not nice falco now.
