My name originates from Transformers: Armada. Sideways is a purple motorcycle who changes sides, he manipulates both sides for his master, Unicron. I didn't know what earlier on, I just liked the purple motorcycle bot.. until he became a 'Dcon.

I'm lame and unoriginal. Its just my first initial and last name. I'd consider changing it, but then it would get hard recognizing me with a new name and I figured "eh, whatever"

...That's pretty much what my brother did. It may not be uber original, but at least you didn't give yourself a retarded name like I did, and can never, ever change it. :P

My name I came up with when I was 12, and I'm not proud of it. I thought it was cool at the time, but it really wasn't/isn't, and now I suffer the consequences. Boo hoo.

Well, the username I usually use for everything is grayfox4751, but I too sent it to a non existant email while signing up for time. So since I screwed up I had to think of another one. And this came to mind.

Back in freshman year I was (and still am) obsessed with Russia. I wanted to learn the launguage and all its history. One night I was at a friends party and we decided to go outside at like 11pm and screw around. I broke off from the group to use the rest room and when I came back out I saw them at the top of a hill. As I approched them, they all turned and looked at me. My friend George yelled "Its a spy" and the next thing I know Im being tackled to the ground. They showen a flash light in my face and George said You better tell us everything you know, Russian dog, or we'll slit your throat. And the rest of the night I was known as "the Russian dog". And 38 came from me hitting two random numbers on the keyboard.

Hm. Not much to tell about my name's story. At the time i was at a Spore (2008 game) gaming spree, and then i decided to register at Orbiter-Forum. I didn't care much for how awesome it would be since i thought i wouldn't be so much time on. Since i was wrong, that sticks. I decided to use that in every forum/site i register to be easily recognized by people i already know on other forums. It sticked, and now i have nicknames that vary since OS, Spore or Orbit to Spaceman, OrbiterSPAAACE, The Impossible Astronaut...

Due to some difficulties like Steam account issues (Thanks for nothing, Valve), some of my accounts have minor variation on names, like my actually working Steam account, which i had to create. (orbiter4spore)

I chose my username because quite frankly I liked wolves, and the book that got me into them featured a Lone Wolf as a main character. I've since realized that 'Lone Wolf' is horribly unoriginal, however I still stick with it here, because it's identifiable, and something I've grown to love. Doesen't hold back the reality that Lone Wolves kind of suck ass though, and often end up dead in a stream.

My Steam name, as well as my name I now identify as in the furry fandom is my favorite waveform in music (Sawtooth) and part of the scientific name of the species my fursona (Martes Pennanti).

Yeah, though 'Lone' on its own works nicely as a nickname. Because we all need nicknames for our internet names. :B

Back in the days of my Vista years. I loved the Starcraft fandom. And my favorite unit when SC2 came out was the Void Ray. I just thought it was one badass unit with it's "VVVVVVVVVV" sound and it's lazer. And then there was Mohandar, one of the commanders of the Nerazim, and has some of the best puns in the game. His rank is "High Executor."

And then there is Matt Damon. This story has a personal connection. Back in '08 I took a trip to Florida when our plane lost two engines. We were told to brace for impact. When out of the blue came Matt Damon. He had hawk wings and was holding a staff of lightning. He pulled back on the plane until it was slow enough to land. And we all lived happily ever after. The End.

There's a really cheesy, childish story, but let's go through with it anyway LOL

________________________________

This name came from my YouTube username I made back in 2009 (after being suspended from YT...).

Spider comes from my love for spiders (TAMED/PET ONES, NOT WILD ONES XD), I love their shape, their appearance, their speed. And also because I was playing Metroid Fusion while making my account, my favorite Metroid game besides Super Metroid. See, on Metroid Fusion, I was at the part where I had to fight Yakuza (Spider Boss), and when you beat him, you get the Space Jump, which for me, I would call it Spider Jump, because you fought a spider to get it and it makes a unique noise that sounded like a spider to me.

Staryu comes from the Pokemon, Staryu. I have always loved Staryu, from the first time Pokemon came to the USA, and I got Red/Blue, something about Staryu... I just always loved him. I guess it's just because in general I have loved stars as a little kid and everything about them, and I LOVE water, so Staryu was my favorite Pokemon.

Now, here's the silly part... With all of these factors, I added them together to make SpiderStaryu. Staryu would spin a lot, he hovered as such, he was pretty fast, so this made sense to me at the time (I was 12 at the time, so don't get crazy!!). It was a really stupid name to me a month later when I looked at it, I always said I was going to change it, but I guess it just has grown on me over time, and now I love it.

I should probably visit SF-O more often.

Anyways, my username comes from the game Animal Crossing (great game, I rate it A out of 5). My original username on the internet used to be Punchyrox2000, obviously because one of the game's characters, Punchy the cat, rocked. The 2000 was added because Punchyrox just doesn't sound as cool as Punchyrox2000. Eventually I just shifted to Punchy on most forums and on Steam, because that is what I am commonly referred to, and it gets annoying having to type Punchyrox2000 all the time.

And that's the story of my life.

(also new text colors :3 )

LOOOONG story. When I first joined another forum, I wanted to pick "Simon Belmont", which was already taken. I tried MrSimon, which combined my youtube name (MRLOL785) with the name I wanted for the forum. That was already taken by a dude who turned out to be legendary in the community. The avatar I wanted to pick at the time was a screenshot of a Captain N episode where Simon Belmont's head was stuck through a portrait of himself, so I, for some reason, chose "Simon Belmont Painting", not considering that I'd eventually change my avatar and that it was a crappy name anyway. Well, people marveled at my weird name, and eventually I became known as SBP, Simon, Belmont, or the Painting by my friends. Hence, Simon here.

Me? Well, it should be obvious. If you think about it, how many bronies are there on this site alone? And then how many Anti Bronies? I think someone needs to take a stand.

YOU KNOW ME TOO WELL!

Listen, bro. You don't like ponies. That's obvious, and that's absolutely fine. But I'm giving you fair warning right now: keep a lid on it. If you want to make an 'I hate bronies' topic and have a fun little anti-brony party in there, it's up to the mods to decide whether or not that's gonna fly; I doubt it will, but I don't mind if one exists personally. We have our playground, I say it's fair for you to have your own.

But we, aside from the occasional reference made as a small part of a whole post, keep it in our one or two topics we have. We're not running around shoving ponies into every discussion, so don't run around shoving your hatred of the fact that someone likes something you don't like into everyone's faces and nobody should have any problems.

EDIT: I actually seem to recall Xidphel being an anti-brony for a while. Now he's a brony. Funny, that.

Ah yes. Fun times. I believe that's why I can't stand the cupcake song. I ran into that Sandvich video and found it catchy...

Until I realized where it came from.

I believe I also quoted the Demoman as if he were anti-brony.

Count how many people post in the pony thread for the bronies. There's not that many actually. The rest are either indifferent or don't like it but don't care that people do.

All right, look here. I'm not here to start fights and hate threads. That's a quick way to getting a big ban. Rather, my mission is to contain the madness so that a phazon style corruption thing doesn't happen. I'll just monitor brony activity and weigh in if it gets out of hand. 'K?

:cop:

Also, Xidphel, I love that gif.

This part I have beef with though. We have mods to "contain the madness." That's their job. If they decide bronies are running too rampant - they haven't much yet if at all, FYI, since we aren't a bunch of rabid slavering zombies and know when a discussion is and isn't about ponies - then they'll smack us and call us bad boy and send us to our rooms with no dinner. It's not your job, and while I try to be tolerant of people, especially people I've just met, when you come in introducing yourself as staunchly against something someone else likes - not indifferent, not just a one-off mention of how you don't like it, but anti-x - I find it hard to take you seriously for one, and I find it hard to muster up the respect that I try to give equally to those I don't know.

Tl;dr, being anti-brony is pretty fucking stupid and if you'e letting your dislike of a fandom consume you to the point that your opposition to that fandom is how you introduce yourself, you might want to reevaluate your priorities in life.

To the owner of Anti Brony Security Ltd:

While we appreciate the willingness of your limited company to offer your services (for free at that!) to contain a potential future brony infestation we must respectfully decline your offer - as we have our own department that encompasses ALL fandoms, not just bronies. We wish you all the best in your zealous endeavors - just not on Star Fox Online. :)

I'd recommend asking the mods for a name change, Anti-Brony. Outright saying that you're an anti-brony gives people a very one-dimensional first impression of you, and it'll get really dated after bronies die out (come on, it'll happen. How many hippies or grunge rockers or Beliebers do you see anymore?). Now, putting it in your sig or as your title is fine, because you can change that and it's not as apparent as putting it in your username. Bronies aren't a hate group, so you don't need to "monitor their activity" to make sure it doesn't "get out of hand". I believe most of us live in democratic countries where free speech is protected, and simply saying "I like ponies" is free speech, as is saying "I don't like ponies". Yeah, people will look at you funny, depending on the context of the conversation, but you get the point. Trying to rid this place of Bronies is just as futile as trying to rid it of furries. It's stupid, unreasonable, and dictatorial. Plus, your promise to "monitor their activity" implies that you're a brony, but you're so far in the closet about it that you're in frickin' Narnia. It just reeks of a newby 12 year old trying to be a badass cool guy who tries so hard to make other people look bad, but winds up failing hilariously. I've seen all of this before.

And no, I am not a brony. I am not pro-brony or anti-brony, but I don't see any valid reason (outside of societal norms and/or hypermasculinity) as to why they should be treated any different from furries. I mean, yeah, the ones that are into the porn aspects are sick sumsabitches, but that doesn't imply that all of the fans are into it. Grow up.

[Wall of text]

Couldn't possibly have said any better, pal. I, for one, am not a brony, actually not even too much into the whole pony or horse or whatever thing, but nobody ever saw me fusillade-ing (couldn't find a better expression to compare the extremes) them for that. Long story short: Like ponies? Fine. Like silly viral videos? Fine-ish. Like Krystal porn? NOT SO FINE. Why?

I'll put it simple: Your username suggests that the whole brony-dom is a threat, though you never mentioned things that are really bad (I.E. Furverts) being of that nature. While for some the pony viral may be a "OMG ITS A APPOCLYPS!!1!!1!" event, for others it won't be anything meaningful, when at the same time we got the huge mob of furverts (that is really, really a threat and should be EXTERMINATED) with those disturbing, life-scarring and terrifying "art", and for counterpart there's us, serious SF fans, or otherwise people who don't "go R34" over a 3D GAME CHARACTER RENDER THAT IS NOT EVEN REAL OR OTHERWISE A HUMAN. Even then, I don't see any of the bronies that I know of posting some disturbing pony fan "art", or whatever inappropriate or that may be a nuisance or trolling people or whatever, neither the so-called 'furries' post crap of the SF characters, and this pleases me. I must add that I simply refuse to become entrenched in small details of opinion imposing them against people entrenched on their own because that can, and would (if I did so), cause a flame war, and for me, a ban. You may have picked the username as a joke and came kidding with the whole thing of "Wee, wee, to hell with ponies! Wee, wee!", that's no crime, but some people may have picked up that message wrong. That may be fine if it's just a joke, but if the joke becomes offensive, it's trolling, and you know how we deal with trolls here. *Presses button revealing a nuke arsenal* "SHING! SPARKLE, SPARKLE."

NOTICE ONE VERY IMPORTANT THING, THOUGH: That may sound pro-brony or whatever, but it's not; it is a pro-peaceful forum, friendly discussion opinion. I want to keep myself just as the resident lawful neutral spectator minding his own life and sharing what's good with others, but in no possible way I will be visiting a line-of-fire of a flame war of a angry brony mob and a anti-brony one-man-army. Keep your environments enriching, be polite, and don't do the flamewars. Have a nice day, ladies and gentlemen.

Now, I request DAH GREHT AWSUHM PAWAAH OF DAH MODS to put things back on rails before I am forced to lock myself in my safety bunker until this matter is resolved.

Patch from 101 Dalmatians (The 1961 portrayal of him, not the godawful, emo, retarded Thunderbolt obsessed version of him from the terrible 2003 DTV sequel that has apparently overshadowed the 1961 Patch.) has always been one of my personal favorite Disney characters. I don't know why, but he seems pretty badass for a puppy, especially in the scene where they watch television. Plus, I wanted to use an alias that would be simple and easy to recognize.

The 93 part comes from 1993 being one of my personal favorite years in gaming.

Years ago I always wanted to be a writer. I was working on a book with a main character called Hedder Gras. At that time I used AMcD (Anna McDonnell) as nickname. It was a mix between my name ande the last names of Wolf and Fox. But I wanted something else, something not involving my own name. In the TV show Cold Case was a character that was named Heather. Which was the actual English version of 'Hedder'. I decided to just use that name. At first it was HMcD (Heather McDonnell), but quickly became Heather Grace an afterwards HeatherGrace. So Gras became Grace :)
