A concept I tried on another forum, thought I'd give it a go here.

RP Name/Title- La Catalina

Style- Forum

Theme- Casual rp about upper(-middle) class living

Setting- Set in an award-winning neighborhood called La Catalina, in the Cornerian City Metropolitan Area. Built on the former site of a Cornerian Defense Force Training facility, the 1,500-acre neighborhood is home to over 10,000 residents and 150 businesses It has a wide range of housing choices, great schools, parks, lakes, shops and restaurants make La Catalina one of Corneria City's most desirable places to work, live, and visit.

Description- Similar in concept to The Cornerian Complex, except the rp takes place in an exclusive upper-market housing tract and community called La Catalina. Less of an emphasis on public spaces and more involved with private lives.

The neighborhood was master-planned as a Traditional Neighborhood Development, using time-tested principles of New Urbanism. Stated simply, these planning principles mix residential, commercial, and civic uses in close proximity, creating a pedestrian-friendly neighborhood that makes it possible to limit vehicle traffic. Most of the neighborhood is not gated and does not have retaining walls, and blends seamlessly into older surrounding neighborhoods.

La Catalina is broken up into five subdivisions, featuring varying housing choices and amenities in each neighborhood, so there is something for everyone. Each subdivision is gracefully arranged and designed as a complement of the whole of La Catalina and offers a refined interpretation of executive living. Homesites have been carefully planned to maximize privacy and landscape views, while home designs reflect the character and presence of neo-classical design of old-century dwellings.

A select group of builders, chosen for their experience in constructing superior residences, is crafting the homes of La Catalina: H.B. Cuthbert Inc., J. Warren Trump Construction, Inc., Michael Daley Builder, Inc., Whyndam Carlton Homes, phoeniX Homes, Morgan Hilbert Construction, Inc., and Apex Homes.

Below are descriptions of the subdivisions in the community.

Normally I'd hesitate to approve of a casual RP that is similar to The Cornerian Complex, since the aforementioned RP was established after encountering issues with several casual RPs running simultaneously (although that was nearly five years ago now).  Considering how quiet the RP section is, however, I'll make an exception to that policy. :P

You can go ahead and start this up once you feel as if you have enough players to support it.  Don't forget to create a discussion thread counterpart for it as well.
