I wanna do this in one run-through!But anyway, first I wanna thank OneUnder for approving my rp--you are the absolute best!So, La Catalina is supposed to be a casual rp like The Complex. No definitive plot, we just make it up as we go. Anyone can join at any time. The main difference from The Complex is that, rather than focusing on us interacting in a public space, the interactions are able to be taken to more private and intimate settings inside the characters' homes. Not to say that one can not be out in the open. I just thought something was missing with The Complex and wanted a different angle by which to view our characters.In any case, let's use this thread to plan neighborhood barbecues, house parties, other mundane functions, as well as whatever excitement we can toss in the mix.Now for a few rules (which I've pretty much copy-pasted from The Complex due to laziness and/or because they made sense)1) We all know the rules, so let's play nice and abide by them.2) For the most part, I am the GM, so what I say goes, sweeties.3) Lets be moderate with our posts. We are all trying to RP together, so lets not leave each other behind.4) I like elements of realism and drama in my rps, and I know the world isn't as perfect as everyone's manicured lawn makes it seem to be. To that extent, I will allow, some violence and a firearm on a rare occasion. But keep in mind, this is about private lives of people in an intimate and upscale setting; I don't want this to turn into the ghetto, I don't want it to turn into Desert Storm with fools ripping and running with KA-BAR knives and AK-47s all over the place. To those who aren't in the Skype chat, I'm going to be starting the rp back up a little bit later this evening. This time, I will make sure to let everyone involved to make a post or two in order to really get into the groove. But, if nothing else, you can still join at any time. Clearwater Posted May 5, 2015 Report Share Posted May 5, 2015 Considering the amount of RP's that I've played that, quite frankly, the creators/guides of have gone AWOL (See: Star_Dragon forPredator and Prey), and couple that with my end-of-year exams coming frightengly close to the line, I may have to think aboutjoining this one. If I will do though, I'll let you guys know this coming Saturday.Oh, by the way Naza, I don't have/use Skype, so you might have to fill me in on the essentials. With that said, where its at is a little bit stale and it could stand to be refreshed, similar to the cycles that The Complex goes through.
