This topic was inspired by a topic on the GameFAQs SF64 Forums, which was inspired by a topic in the SSBB forum.

It's loads of fun. You put a Star Fox quote through Google Translate and put it here. Examples:

How-To:

1. Get over to Google Translate:

http://www.google.com/translate_t

2. Find English to Japanese BETA in the dropdown menu and select it.

3. Put in your quote and hit translate.

4. Copy the Japanese characters (or question marks, if you don't have the right character set, it'll still work) that have appeared to the right and paste them back in the translate field.

5. Select Japanese to English BETA on the dropdown and translate.

There you go.

P.S. It always, ALWAYS translates Fox as orphan. Is Google more intelligent then we think it is? :P

According to my Japanese Dictionary, the first Kanji in the word koji [孤見] (one of the words for orphan) is also the single kanji for the word kitsune (孤), which means fox. (note: Fox's name in Japanese is actually katakana form of the english fox, フォックス , or fokkusu)

Google translates "Look Out, Fox!" into "孤見なさい"

見なさい is what Google translates as "Look Out"

Add Kitsune to the front of it, and google thinks the 孤見 is koji instead of kitsune and the other word.

Most definitely FTW on these. Especially "the n roll probably will be shaken!" Made me rofl.

And I guess that makes sense DZ. This kind of automated translator can't really get everything right with the dissimilarities between the grammar in different languages and all, especially if just one character can change a whole word...well, that's possible in English too, but...uh...to a lesser extent.

Ok, I took the liberty of going on YouTube and typing all the dialogue of the ending scene of Star Fox Adventures, then translating it!

Hmm...that's weird. The tense is wrong. Even how weird these may be, the tense is usually right. In English, it's present "sending." In Engrish it's past "sent."

And why would it translate a simple work like "reward" into something like "remuneration?"

This topic is just busting my sides. This is beyond the strongest adjective for hilarity. Way better than the GameFAQs forum topic.

EDIT: Here's the Assault definition of Fox:
