definitely corneria.  DO A BARREL ROLL!  :peppy:

Only reason I liked playing Corneria is to hear Peppy say that xD

Ah let me see, it depends on what kinda supply of bombs/lazer upgrade I have, if I have 9 bombs and Hyper Lazer, Then it's Area 6 :)

I agree. The Barrell Roll and ''Can't let you do that StarFox'' will be gone forever. Many Dutch people would be happy when StarFox 3D is with this team: Fox, Falco, Slippy, Krystal. :| I hope it will be the best remake they ever made. Just StarFox 64 as how it was!

i think my fav level in sf 64 would either be area 6 or venom II. area 6 because of everything u can blow up and venom II because it challenges your dogfighting skills

Epic win.

Yeah, I don't know what my favorite mission was. Corneria was one of the best, Sector Z, or whichever one had the robot, that one was pretty epic.

Sector X has the robot. I like that mission except for the warp, it's not as good as the warp on Meteo.

I like Sector X too, because it was challenging to hit all the enemies in the beginning of the level, and I love challenges! I mainly love it because bill shows up and he's my favorite character.

:bill: "Geez, see if I ever help you again!"

I'd say either Cornaria, Meteo, Solor, Macbeth, (gatta love crashing that tain) or Area 6, but I think I'll go with Area 6. It's basically the last (and possiblly most challenging) "normal" corridor scrolling level in the game on the "hard route." Plus there's so much going on it, giant saucers, battleships, (reminisc of the SNES Star Fox) tons of enemies you faces in earlier levels, and then some. Plus the boss "Gorgon" was a pretty fun to fight. (Especially that sezure rainbow lazer.) My thumbs sometimes get tired when I try to get a high score on it, but it's still alot of fun, and one of the most frantic levels in the game.

Also, kinda interesting one of the chatty off-screen enemies is actually refered to by name, "Caimen." (He looks more like a deformed frog then a caimen though.) He actually does have some fans regardless of being such a minor character.

"THE LAST LINE HAS BEEN BREECHED!"

Plus, it's cool that you can get more then 400 points (or even more!) on the level if you get good enough at it.

(Especially that sezure rainbow lazer.)

Especially if you were sitting in the back of a small van, with the screen six inches from your face, at night.

MAJOR SEIZURE

When ever it's night, my eyes are always sensitive to bright flashy lights. If it's not night, then it doesn't bother me half as much.

Y'know, in the Virtual Console version of Star Fox 64, I noticed they cut down the brightness, and slowed down the flashing color animation on the Gorgon "rainbow" lazer. Maybe 'cause some people complained about it.

Maybe...but I don't plan on getting for VC.

I wouldn't be surprised if the people complaining about the brightness and the flashing color of the laser is from Japan. Hasn't this happened...in many shows and games? (*ahem* I'm looking at you, Pokemon!)

Yes it has, that might be why they edited it in the first place. (They also slowed down the background flashing effect animations in old NES games on Virtual Console to, like the "death" animation in Zelda 2, or the final letter in Super Mario 3.)

Still, I'm curious how that Gorgon lazer effect will look in the upcoming 3DS remake SF64 3D.

It's still trippy, just a li'l easier on the eyeballs now.

Still I wanna see how that looks in the upcoming 3DS version.
