and I don't really like 'winders, even the AIM-9X can be shaken of you know how. Also, it's never been tested in combat... remember how great the AIM-9B looked on paper in 1967?

personally I'd prefure the aspect Seeking  Hornet missles from Freespace.

Reality - well, it's not that I like weapons but I think some facts are really interesting, like the "Tsar-bomb", a Soviet thermonuclear weapon. It was the most powerful explosion, that was ever made by human (about 50 megatons of TNT). The bomb was first designed as a 100 megaton bomb, but it was reduced to 50 in order to reduce the nuclear fallout. The bomb could wipe out a city of the size of London and its suburbs with one blow. Luckily it was never used against anyone.

Gah, where should I start?

I am a bit of a freak when it comes to such things. One can say I'm a bit of Norwegian redneck...

But as I, like most here I suspect, have actually tried very few sorts and types of weapons, I really can't say which ones are my favorites. Basically a few rifles and the AG-3 are the only ones I'm familiar with as far as firearms go. I've however tried a good deal of historical wepons, such as various swords and other meele weapons, and I liked it rather a lot.

As a rule of thumb, I like the close-quarter heavy-hitters. Longsword over Katana, gatling over sniper rifle and so forth. Things that are almost to heavy and cumbersome to wield effectively, but once you can point them in the general direction of the target, destroys it in the blink of an eye.

Fictional: The Yautja (Creature from the Predator/Aliens vs. Predator franchise) hunter's suit and all the toys that comes with it, and all his other, non-suit attached ones as well.

Reality: The PSG-1A1 sniper rifle, Spas 12 with a folding stock and no hook, FN P90, G36 German Army version, L85A1 assault rifle, an MG3 or MG42, and a Mark 23 SOCOM pistol with its suppressor and LAM.

Well lemme think here, I think I'd really like Samus's arm cannon, shooting all those beams, especially the wave beam when it's charged and then you add missiles to it to make that cool LAZER.
