I, myself, joined the fandom around the early 2000s - I want to say before SFAd was released, but could've been very soon afterwards. During the 2000s, I know I was a member of several SF forums, including OTG, Arwing Landing and I think I was on Lylat.net for a while, as well as many smaller forums (however, I had never signed up here, until now!). I had heard of Mouth Off during this time, but only in passing from other members. Seeing old fanart for it is amazing, and it reminds me of all the other kinds of SF fanart I'd see on the sites at the time. It's not quite the same as the MO banners above, but any previous AL members might be interested in this piece by Blink, which depicts several members from those days.
