I might end up doing just for the short films later. But for now, let's stick to the main, full lenght films.

For me, which have seen, and troughfully enjoyed all of them with the exception of Up, it's almost a dead race between Cars and Monsters, Inc.  Many will probably see Cars as one of Pixar's weaker movies, and it is. But from a petrolheads perspective, this is pure Nirvana. I can't wait untill the sequel comes next year!

Monster's Inc. is terrific fun, like all Pixars movies are. But if I have to chose one, it will have to be Cars.

Didn't the english version of cars have a cameo by geramy clarkson?

Monsters Inc apparently ripped off the idea from a little known cartoon called ARG real monsters. Since only animation buffs have heard of it, it was probley rubbish.

Walle had a great set up and good atmoosphere early on, but the cheezy, cliched plot and heavy handed enviromental message means it get's a bit thumbs down from me.

For me, Pixars best was Incredibles. Only the idea of a perfect family let it down for me. The 2000s acording to the 50s style was a fantastic touch.

Jeremy Clarkson gave to voice to McQueens manager. Whenever I hear him speaking, I can clearly hear that Jeremy would have been perfect for that role.

I was surprised over how well Pixar could pull WALL-E of. I mean, the main character could barely speak, and there was almost no dialogue in the first half of the story. But the same reasons as you stated was what let it down for me as well.

I went with Toy Story 2 since it had Evil Emperor Zerg, who was a damned good character in Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. That, and it was just an epic movie lol.

They're all good movies, but I never really liked A Bug's Life.

My favorite would have to be either The Incredibles, or Ratatouille. They're both just fun concepts, and The Incredibles had a few mature touches for the older audience.

I never really liked Bug's Life. Not Finding Nemo either to be honest.

I just watched UP yesterday, and I was surprised to see they did the same as with WALL-E, they turned a concept that at first glance would seem dry and boring into something quite good. But UP got even better than WALL-E as it progressed.

Cars wasn't that bad but I still like Wall-e better.

This is sorta hard. Most of these movies are great.

Up, in my opinion, was a funny and adventurous movie that got my attention quite well.

Ratatouille was another film that I would describe as... I guess cute added with a some of drama.

The Incredibles to me now is just another descent action film with a splash of comedy. Back then when it just came out, I thought it was pretty good.

Overall, I think I would have to choose up.

Cars. I love NASCAR and I love this.

A close second is The Incredibles.

That's why I liked it. :P I thought it was a good look at the road the world is going down. I'm sure it was a slap in the face to most people who don't seem to realize that the space on Earth is finite.

But to us who think that human-made global warming is the biggest scam in the history of mankind, it was close to a propanda film, something I at least strongly dislike.

This. I can't really talk about without a knickles wrap from the mods, but what I will say is that this apocolyptic "we're all going to die unless we save the dolphins by turning off the standby on the tv and taking the labels of cans" bollocks is so constant and dumb it's like having fern gully on a loop. If the film was god instead of enviomentalism, and so we would all die unless we worship the invisable sky man or the flying spagetti monster and it was played totally straight, and on the news, and being written into law, would you still like it?

WALL-E. Anyone besides me notice WALL-E kinda resembles Johnny 5 from Short Circuit?

Oddball here, I find Monsters Inc. most enjoyable. But I'm gonna go ahead and shoot myself in the foot here and say that while I like Pixar's films, I do think they're quite overrated...(but that's probably just because I'm a whore for classic hand-drawn animation.)

I was wandering why none of these films jumped out as a great to me, I have yet to be impressed by an animation in 3d... No one has captured the amazing expressions and smooth movements that are in hand drawings and claymations, in 3d animations.

I wholeheartly agree to this statement. Not only do I think Monster Inc. was great, but also that there's something with good old hand-drawn films that 3D animation doesn't have.

Oh, you like Short Circuit? :D (I love that movie.)

back OT, I like Toy Story (the first one).

It had originality, it was funny....I like "Sid Philips" the psycho neighbor, especially. he reminds me of the friends I had growing up. xD
