If SF didn't have Krystal? Hm... I wonder how the series would go... Maybe  :wolf: would still have his British Accent from SF 64....

What do you think it would be without  :krystal:?

[Terribly sorry if this is in the wrong place I'm very new here  :?]

Well...pre-Krystal Star Fox was okay, but adding Krystal made it better.  Don't get me wrong, Katt Monroe was definitely a nice addition, seeing as how mainstream Star Fox needed more females, Fay and Miyu unfortunately got the shaft, and are stuck in Star Fox 2, and poor Fara is forever stuck in SF comic book land.

Katt was a great female character stable addition to the series, but her SF64 appearance/personality just...wasn't enough, IMO.  She was a little..."been there, done that".

That's where Krystal cames in.  Her unique features, the fact she's not just like the others, seeing as how she's from another planet (I wish they would give her more roots/origin to her back story), the blue fur, and that delightful British accent, are a great addition to the series.

She's earned a whole fanbase just for her.

Too many guys in the main series for too long turns it into a sausage fest. ;)

Little less drama, but it also might be a little less interesting if she weren't there.

In addition to her looks, she also kickass.

That is a thing Katt could not do,

or that Nintendo never allowed her to do.

Same :P ive only played SF : Adventures and got into it because of Krystal and its MP features.

Anyways to my own idea : STARFOX WITHOUT KRYSTAL? THATS LIKE PEPPY WITHOUT BARREL ROLL *dies*

Edit: 200 pixel image in sig... HOW MANY INCHES IS THAT? no seriously cuz the brawl cards in sigs, i thought that was more then 200 pixels

  • 2 weeks later...

If Krystal wasn't in the series I wouldn't nearly be as interested in the franchise as I am now.

It would probably be more like, "A fun arcade-style space shooter, Rumble Pak was pretty cool on the N64 version..."

Pretty much the same exept that I would still have

some interest... After all, I became a fan with the

N64 version... Then played the SNES one... Then

Command... Then (I am going to, DEFINETLY)

the Adventures & Assault.

Attractive = sex appeal in this case.

And no. I'm not being crude. That really is the reason she was designed the way she was. What if she had the same personality but looked like a dumpy old lady? Would she be as popular as she is?

It's one thing to say that she didn't add sex appeal in -your- perspective (perfectly valid viewpoint), but another to say she didn't add it to the series (denial of fact).

I found Star Fox perfectly interesting without Krystal in it. :3 In fact...I never found her particularly interesting at all.  Come to think of it, that's Peppy's arwing!

Would you want to play as a fat old lady?

I was going to save this for later ,but I guess i'll say it now.

Krystal is attractive and good looking becauese like most femal charters  nobody want's to play a ugly lady. Saying that Krystal has sex appeal  is basicly saying "I agree" With the  Fan's that made every other female game charater a sex appeal.
