You can have up to 28 votes, which may seem like a remarkably high number, but actually lets you choose up to one of every one of the multiple conflicting options.  If you want, you can use this for a "kill 'em all!" sweep or whatever fancies you, though I don't recommend boasting this. :3

Though you can vote for whatever reasons you wish, remember that this is not a character-bashing thread.  Don't say "I hate {character} and want {them} gone", etc.  Also, for this reason, I didn't add an "Other (please specify)" option.

I say leave SFC out completely, I though Lucy and Amanda were a good idea, but what a horrible way to introduce them into SF.

Andrew leaves permanently (He's gone past the point where he's a comic relief character, and is just annoying.)

Andross is permanently gone (But his legacy lives on. In the form of Dash, or someone else, I'm not sure.)

Fara is canon, and appears (Like this. Brutal, but would make a very strong impact.)

Fay is canon, and appears (Well, can put her in somewhere, but doesn't need a mayor role.)

James is permanently gone (Nothing against him influencing things from the afterlife tough, like he's done before.)

Krystal stays (But don't bind her so closely to the Starfox team. Check out my entry in how I want the next game to be for more info.)

Marcus will never exist (Let Fox and Krystal have kids at some point, but not someone who looks like this. Please...)

Miyu is canon, and appears (I really would like a lynx in the game, and Miyu is the perfect pick.)

Pepper returns to prominence (No explenation needed. The lollipop hound stays!)

Peppy returns to action (Let's get to see him in the cockpit one more time.)

Pigma returns somehow, again (Lot of unused potential there. People might hate him, but that confirms he makes a great villain.)

Slippy's son is canon (Of course does Slippy need to have a son! Just not anytime soon.)

Vivian is canon (Not entirely sure. But I think Peppy deserves her.)

Amanda is canon, and stays:

I don't know about anyone else, but I liked the idea of Slippy having a caring girlfriend. It made him seem less well... excluded, really. I think it's about time Slippy got himself a soulmate, and they're a nice couple.

Andross is permanently gone:

He really has returned too many times... the constant return of Andross weakens the series considerably. New enemies are far more interesting that the same one since the beginning.

Dash never existed:

Dash is practically another Andross in the making. This reason reflects the one above.

Fara is canon, and appears: I haven't read any of the Star Fox comic but including Fara sounds like an interesting idea.

Fay is canon, and appears: Same reason as above. And having more characters makes room for another team which could potentially work with Star Fox in some cases.

James is permanently gone: Sadly, there's no way to revive the dead.

Krystal stays: The thing I like about females being added to the franchise is that it gives the team a love interest. I love a bit of romance, and Krystal is a neat character with a very unique background. Keeping her in the game opens that opportunity for us finding out just what happened to Cerinia.

Lucy is canon, and stays: A nice character idea. Lucy was awesome for teaching astrophysics and boasting a tough attitude despite her 'sweet' looks.

Lucy's daughter will never exist: I can't think of anything to say about this apart from it being a ridiculous idea. Lucy wouldn't be a pilot anymore, and thus, be extracted from the game.

Marcus will never exist: The same reason as above. Marcus being born would put both Fox and Krystal out of service due to their new life. And that would mean no more 'original' Star Fox...

Miyu is canon, but is already gone: A good potential character who would probably get along well with Lucy, Fara, etc.

Peppy leaves permanently: He really needs a rest, but he could still appear in the story once in a while. Just not as a pilot.

Pigma is gone forever: Same reason as Andross, really.

Slippy's son will never exist: Same reason for Marcus and Lucy's daughter never existing in the first place.

Vivian is canon: Surely Peppy must have been with someone at one point. I liked the idea of Vivian and her tragic, early death. It provided a small amount of drama for Star Fox that's easily handled.

X3 In SNES Star Fox, he only disappeared, and was revealed to have dimensionally shifted.  He reappeared in dramatic fashion in the appearance of a space whale.  In the game, James has a slim chance of appearing at totally random moments, leaving a trail of free powerups, and then vanishing again.  Though in Star Fox 64 he was "killed", this is not certain (especially considering how they had handled him originally), since he still sometimes talks noncorporeally.

The whole "James keeps appearing!" thing is getting old. They should stop, but never explain it. It's up for the gamer to interpret as he/she will.

Peppy shouldn't replace Pepper. Star Fox is a team of freelance mercenaries. Why would Peppy randomly be appointed to Commander in Chief of the Cornerian army?

They should do something with the Fox/Pigma relationship. I mean, Pigma betrayed Fox's father. Fox should have a personal vendetta against him.. And Pigma shouldn't be a box.
