  1. 1. So do you?

    • Yeah, I have my iPod for music, my cell phone for calls and my netbook/laptop for business.

    • No, I like to a smartphone that can do all of the above and then some.

So, I noticed this girl getting on the metrorail (Miami's monorail system) and I see she has a netbook in her lap she's talking on the phone with her cell phone and I'm like, "Wow. It must be hard to carry all of that stuff." Hence the question. My answer, I would prefer to have a really good smartphone that has the power like a computer (well as long as I can see emails and surf the web doesn't have to be crazy powerful) but at times just use it as an MP3 player and not have to deal with that juggling. So, I wanna know your opinions. Do you like having a device for a specific task or like me would you prefer to have one device that can do it all?

I don't have a phone or music player.

DS is the closest I have, and I almost never take that anywhere. :<

I carry around an Ipod with 30 GB's of music space, a Blackberry with all my email addresses set up, mobile internet, etc set up usually everywhere I go.

I sometimes carry optional "gear" depending on the situation, like a GPS or digital camera for example.

I reluctantly got a cell phone three years ago. A Nokia 5500.

And, that's it really. I do have a laptop, which I take with me to school almost every day. But nothing apart from that.

I wanted a Nokia 5200 for a reason

my father & mother know. Simply,

in addition to a cellphone, I had 512MB of

portable memory, in addition to it being

a MP3 player. So I choose the single-device

option.

^Hello! I have a Samsung phone too! It has an Mp3 player, internet browser, and games as well. (I only put Brain Challenge though, thought about tetris.)

Some of us can't afford fancy eye-fones.

I can't either. And even if I could, I'd buy something better. I spit on iPhone! Ack-tooie! And then Mr. K would punch me in my face. I would actually go for the T-Mobile G1 or that MyTouch Slide. I can't fathom touch screen only. It's not my style. Need physical QWERTY keyboard.

Hi,

actually I bought the Samsung phone for just one reason:

Altough the guy in the vid has mistake in it and doesn't play the full song.

I can play the intro of Nightwish's "Nemo" and the first few notes of the Super Mario Bors theme as well^^

I would actually love an iPhone for just going out. For classes though, I would need my laptop. :P (I say iPhone because it's the best smartphone AT&T has. And I'm a consumer whore. And my parents hate change and they pay for my phone.)

Without and iPhone, I'd be carrying around my iPod, my LG Vu, and my DS, and that's not good when I don't usually carry a purse. xD (I make Steve carry my wallet as it is, since he wears cargo pants and I wear skinny jeans.

what happens if your corvette craps out in the middle of nowhere that's reallly the only use I find for a cell phone emergency

I hate having things in my pockets. Like, not even a wallet or cellphone. DS is too much of a hassle to bring along anywhere (what with it's size, the cartridges and stylus..)

Sooo iTouch has become my new traveling companion.
