LoneWolf
People say that Justice is overrated, but I really like them, they do a good job. French electronic duos FTW. Madeon's also French and his music defies the laws of awesome as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9MszVE7aR4
FoxMcCloud
This thread is amazing. I am big into electronic music I really have gotten into it since I have gone to college, but some of my favorites are Pendulum, Deadmau5, Anamanaguchi, Infected Mushroom. The list goes on. I am definetly gunna be dwelling in this topic to expand my tastes, it seems Lonewolf seems to be our resident electronic music expert :P
LoneWolf
but some of my favorites are Pendulum, Deadmau5, Anamanaguchi I love you. Just kidding, but GEEZ LAWEEZ the first three are my favorites, all of them, in that exact order. Anybody buy music off of BeatPort? I just found the site and I love the interface and everything, and they offer up lossless .WAV files. Oh, and the site is dedicated to electronic music. Oh, and Daft Punk-Around The World (Killdahype Remix). Me gusta mucho.
FoxMcCloud
Oh, and Daft Punk-Around The World (Killdahype Remix). Me gusta mucho. And I will definitely look at BeatPort when I get a chance. I definetly can tell between when audio files are of a low bitrate, or even lossless. FLAC tends to be a favorite with a lot of people here at college
LoneWolf
FLAC tends to be a favorite with a lot of people here at college I like FLAC, but the compatibility is really low on mobile devices. I just get the lossless and compress the MP3/M4A myself. It makes a difference. Oh, yes, I just found this today. LoneWolf
That is true, most mobile devices don't support it. Pretty much none do. I prefer WAV, AIFF, or AU. No compression whatsoever. Even FLAC is compressed. If you're really hardcore you could go with PCM, but that's kind of overdoing it. Also, what do you guys think about hard media vs. digital distribution? I usually like hard media better, especially if I can get a vinyl. CDs also contain better audio than this crappy stuff iTunes and Amazon MP3 give you. FoxMcCloud
I am a Digitial distribution. I dunno I am a big technology guy, even with games I am a digital distribution guy. I like having a digital license so if I lose it I can always get it back. (not like Itunes or Amazon Mp3 but other digital content sites)

Matrilwood
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKLyg8NLFkw Techno-Metal is always good. I never could work out the difference between Techno-Metal and Metal-Techno, I was thinking they might have been the same thing, but I couldn't find ANYTHING confirming my theory on the Internet so it must be wrong. LoneWolf
and the 2009 version Whoa. High contrast does it again. Haven't actually seen that track by him, but he's a DnB God. Also, @ Chemical Brothers: They're pretty good, my personal favorite: Also, new Knife Party music. Knife Party is a music project started by Rob Swire and Gareth Mcgrillen from Pendulum. And their music blows the mind: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVsSOj-D5bw&feature=channel_video_title http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VqpzJ0telXY&feature=relmfu And a mind-blowing light show from Deadmau5: Here's some of my favorite electronic music blogs, where I find a lot of this stuff: http://thenewmontreal.com/ http://www.vacayvitamins.com/ Also, the Hype Machine is a great tool for finding new music, not to mention they do a kickass monthly podcast: http://hypem.com/

I'm not usually into Black Sun Empire, but this is unique. Very danceable. DnB, turn your subs up for these: (Drops at around 1:50, like a rollercoaster) (Second drops around 1:20, and drops like an atom bomb) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkgH357N-P0 And I found this guy yesterday, kind of like Wolfgang Gartner with a twist.
