I've recently discovered the means to produce electronic music of my own, and have been close to obsessed with it over the last few months, and likely will remain so for a very long time to come. I can identify most of the effects being used in these pieces, and can hazard a pretty good guess about the waveforms/envelopes of the synth instruments being used, or if it's a sampler/live recorded instrument. Like the things this Renard guy does: very often very simple stuff, and I mean very, super dumb-dumb simple. But hey, simple done well almost always beats out complex gone awry. Also, some other bangers for you guys, brought to you by the group DADA LIFE. Also, it's always good to see new people coming to electronic music. One thing I think many people miss is exactly how varied it can be. Personally my favorite subgenres are House, Electro House, and Drum and Bass/jungle, but I certainly have an appreciation for everything from trance to chillout.
