  • Miyamoto wants Star Fox on WiiU

    DZComposer
    • Teaser Paragraph:

In a conversation with an IGN writer, focused on Metroid, Shigeru Miyamoto stated that his personal favorite choice for a franchise to appear on WiiU is Star Fox!

He didn't go into detail, but it is a promising sign that Star Fox is still on the minds of people in power.

Take this with some salt, though. Miyamoto has stated in the past that he wanted Star Fox on Wii, and that never materialized.

The Nintendo executive didn't give any details, but noted that "personally" the franchise he wants most on Wii U is Star Fox.

As long as Retro Studios is doing it (Namco is not good enough to do it), then I am more than happy to get it for either Wii, WiiU, or both.

Likely too late for the Wii, but hopefully this means Star Fox 64 3D is selling well because they said it would depend on how well that game sold.

SF643D sold around 650,000 units so thats decent. This quote from miyamoto has me very excited. Here's hoping!

I hope that Nintendo is going to make a new Star Fox game for the Wii U. The sells for Star Fox 64 3D were good, so that brings in some hope.
