This may very well be the most MASSIVE Starfox RPG ever created... we need more people! We probably need about 15 people total that will ACTIVELY participate before we can start... read the basics under where it says Lylat Defense RPG to start off, everything above is purely updates for after we get started. Also, the membership for each team about midway down this post will be updated as well, so keep an eye on that too.

Lylat Defense RPG

Four teams, one mission: Aparoid destruction.

Here's the basics:

You can assume the role of any existing character, or make one of your own. Starfox and Starwolf are already set in stone, with their current cast of characters as of Starfox Assault. On the other side of this is my own strike team, the Pulsar Foxes, headed by me (Koriani Fox), and there's room for FOUR custom characters there. There is well more than enough room for any remaining custom characters in the Cornerian Army forces, you know how massive the Cornerian Army is. Also, someone is welcome to assume the part of Bill Grey, leader of Husky and Bulldog Katinan Defense Squadrons. This is the ONLY time you will get to command TWO squadrons, so it's first come, first serve there. There is only slight magic allowed, nothing that is super powered or anything, like something that could destroy a fleet in one blow... only things like small attacks or healing. There will be ground battles here and there, but a lot of the action will take place in your fighter ship or above a planet's surface.

Four teams: I might take out a team if we want to get this started and we still don't have enough...

You can assume the position of a commander of a small fighter unit, but no more than that, you can't control the whole Cornerian Army, that wouldn't be fair now, would it?

Basic Storyline:

The Cornerian Army's advanced sensors have picked up massive amounts of movement on the Aparoid Homeworld. They sent scouts out to see what the Aparoids were up to, and they never came back. The second wave of scouts sent out proved better, as they returned with the horrific news: the Aparoids seem to be amassing an army for a full-scale invasion of the Lylat System! They're ready to pull out all the stops and completely overrun the system, unless someone can stop them. But this isn't just some one. This is some everyone. One Ar-Wing can't win a war, but 4 Ar-Wings, 3 Wolfens, one Wolfen Eagle, and a massive amount of Cornerian Army fighters can! Let's take it to 'em!

Bio: Koriani Fox is a blue and whitefurred vulpine that loves to blow stuff up. Hes normally calm and laid back, but when he is needed to get something done, he completes the task by any means possible. He has a relatively low amount of physical strength, so during a battle, instead of using brute force, he uses his brainpower and his incredible agility to devastating effect. He also has an extremely low tolerance for pain, so one or two well-placed shots would likely put him out of commission. He is a master pilot, and is regarded by many as the best pilot in the Lylat System, rivaled only by Fox McCloud. For ground battles, Koriani prefers to fight at mid to close range with either a plasma autorifle or a plasma scythe. Extremely high agility coupled with astounding jumping ability and an incredible maximum running speed make him nearly impossible to beat in melee combat. He is an excellent shot with the autorifle, or any type of gun for that matter, and most enemies dont last very long when he is holding it. Korianis ability to fight extreme close range with a plasma scythe is also worthy of comment. The Wolfen Eagle is the perfect starfighter match for him since it is extremely fast and maneuverable. When in the cockpit, Koriani seems to have a sixth sense on where all the airborne units are at all times, which gives him an amazing edge in aerial combat.

*Railgun specs: High-powered thermal blaster; causes terrific damage to all in it's path. A devastating weapon designed to penetrate even the toughest shields or armor, the railgun is the Wolfen Eagle's table turner for one sided battles. The railgun takes a moment to charge up, accelerating an electrodynamic flywheel, to generate a high frequency laser that is fired from the gun barrel to superheat the air in the projectile's path. Simultaneously, the 5mm solid xenon core in the round chamber is superheated to white hot plasma. The solid xenon round is contained in a shell of silicon carbide infused alloy, which rapidly vaporizes on firing, releasing the superheated xenon plasma. The plasma has little time to dissipate before it hits its target, causing maximum devastation.

**Salaris XG fusion matter detecting homing missiles specs: The Salaris XG missiles home in on plasma emissions from an opposing craft's engine. At launch, the Salaris XGs are 'cold-fired' by a compressed gas system, then the rocket motors ignite a safe distance away from the Wolfen Eagle. As the solid rocket motor ignites, the steering fins on the missile deploy. The fins allow for swift and tight maneuvering as the missile tracks the target's plasma emission signature.

***Flash Bomb specs: Blind-fired from the rear of the Wolfen Eagle, after a few seconds the Flash Bomb deploys a series of twelve, coaxially mounted submunitions that detonate at a preset distance from the parent munition. This causes a "flash-cloud" of thorium-magnesium flares that cause mass visual distortion.

Wolfen Eagle bio:

The Wolfen Eagle is a balance between extreme speed, maneuverability, and moderate firepower. It has a decent amount of shields, but it doesn't need much because of Koriani's awesome flying capabilities. The quad servokinetic lasers supply the Eagle with unsurpassed firepower, while its 9 Nova Bombs and 3 Cluster Bombs clear out large groups of enemy fighters. Flash Bombs round out the Wolfen Eagle's armament as a diversion tactic, first dropping one to blind the enemy then turning around and attacking is a good strategy. The railgun is the Wolfen Eagle's table turner, it is capable of piercing the strongest of shields. Its only downside is that it takes a while to charge, and it takes a fair amount of energy, normally taken from the other weapons, maintaining the shields' tenacity. The 50 Salaris XG fusion matter detecting homing missiles can home in on a target's engine plume from up to a distance of 1000 miles. Meant for close combat strategy, the missiles can be shot behind to track a pursuing enemy, or in salvos of three to track multiple enemies in a group. The Eagle also has one more trick up its sleeve when it comes to big battles. The two autotrac chain gatling cannons extend from the sides of the Eagle, and when in use, automatically track the nearest hostile unit when firing with deadly accuracy. Those who see the Wolfen Eagle turn to face them don't see much else afterward.

Edgar was raised with and trained by Katt Monroe until Katt "died" in an acident... soon after he joined Pulsar Foxes around the same time that Eclipse did. He is trained in the martial arts as well as healing arts, and he has only told one person other than Katt about his past. (can you guess who) despite being part of the Pulsar Foxes, he tends to do things his own way ( following his own schedule, choosing weither to participate in missions, going solo in between jobs, etc.)

Ship: The Wasp. (a custom Arwing that's black, and extremely fast, but weak shields because of it)

Biography:

Her father was killed at an early age, and her mother left before she even knew her. Ballista was trained to be a soldier in the Cornerian Army. She quickly rose through ranks, and became the leader of the mysterious Espionage sector of the Cornerian Army. She lost her hand in an attack from Andross's army during the original Lylat wars. Silent, mysterious, and deadly all describe Ballista.
