Are they intentionally trying to ruin the Sonic series? I mean, Roger Craig Smith has a great voice, but when you think about Sonic's character, it really, REALLY doesn't match.No, SEGA is honestly, in my opinion, trying to make Sonic "Up to date", as much as some of you Sonic fans out there want games like Sonic 1, 2, or 3 back, you just got to face that they're not coming back, they did make a Sonic 4 so people would shut the hell uo about the old Sonic games . And notice that they're trying to update Sonic by making the newer games more successful, like patching up Sonic '06, I'm looking forward to that. I'm changing the topic to "Sonic the Hedgehog Discussion" And the series in in kinda bad shape now. After the made the "New Generation" with the Wii, PS3, and 360, SEGA decided to make Sonic the Hedgehog (360 & PS3). Over all, it sucked. I thought it was okay, sorta lol. But next SEGA created Sonic Unleashed (Or Sonic Chronicles I don't quite remember) That game was perfect, but they just HAD to throw in the Sh*tty Werehog, God only knows what the hell a Werehog is that ruined it. Then, they made Sonic and the Black Knight, I thought it was a good game. But Sonic fans worldwide thought "WHAT THE HELL?! YOU GAVE SONIC A SWORD?!" I still thought it was okay The final level could've used some work, it was too easy . And now, they're making Sonic 4, Sonic fans will be tickled pink they made a sequel to so called "Good Sonic Games". And they're also making a Sonic Colors (DS and Wii) and a Sonic Free Riders, the 3rd Sequel to the Sonic Riders series, I really didn't care for the Sonci Riders series and Sonic Colors, I'm looking forward too, it is compatable with the Game Cube controller And I'm unaware if Sonic's new voice will be in Sonic Colors, it's been said that Sonic Colors is Sonic Unleashed, without the Werehog . And Sonic Free Riders SHOULD have Sonic's New Voice in it so I'm not really liiking forward to that but I am gonna listen to his new voice, who isn't? They ALWAYS found some flaw.Well to tell ya the truth DD, I actually prefer the newer Sonic (Sonic Adventure - Present) I like the 3D Sonic, I like the voices, although I don't prefer the new guy over Jason .And I thought Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 was good. Not amazing but okay. I loved the new character "Silver the hedgehog". I liked all the 3D Sonic games since Sonic Advenuture, and don't kill me for saying this, but I hated the Genesis Sonics, the old cruddy ones where you could only go left and right, and what the hell? No homing attack! I love the homing attack! And the "Boost" that was in Sonic Unleashed, I couldn't have beaten that game without it.
