NA Star Fox 64 3D site

By DZComposer, in Star Fox News,

    Teaser Paragraph:

The NOA site for Star Fox 64 3D is now up, but only partially.

Seeing as there is little more than a month from US/CAN launch on Sept. 9, there will problably be updates soon.

    Site Software Update

    By DZComposer, in Site Updates,

    Teaser Paragraph:

We have updated our software! This was a major revision change, and, unfortunately, our custom design was incompatible with it.

So, until I can get a new one made, we have to use the software's default style.

I know it doesn't look very "Star Fox," but don't worry, I am working on a new look!

    By DZComposer, in Site Updates,

    Teaser Paragraph:

We had a database mishap. Some images and stuff are not available right now. I will get them up as soon as I can.

    New SF643D Trailer, Screens, Date?

By DZComposer, in Star Fox News,

    Teaser Paragraph:

New trailer and screens of the North America Localization of SF643D.

Also, there are some rumblings of the NA release date being pushed forward 2 days to Sept. 9 to avoid any 9/11 drama, but I have yet to confirm that, so take it with a grain of salt. I won't update the game page until I see something more convincing.

Star Fox 64 3D Launches in Japan

By DZComposer, in Star Fox News,

    Teaser Paragraph:

At the time of this post, it is 5:00 AM on July 14, 2011 in Japan, meaning that early risers should be able to purchase SF64 3D in the Land of the Rising Sun.

This also means it should be relatively quick to grab a copy from an import shop.

NOTE: If you plan on importing, the 3DS is region-locked, so you will need a Japanese 3DS.

    Teaser Paragraph:

NCL has released a new "Iwata Asks" about Star Fox 64 3D.

In this edition, Iwata interviews Shigeru Miyamoto (Series Creator/Producer), Dylan Cuthbert (SF643D/SFC Director), Mitsuhiro Takano (SF64 Writer), and Yusuke Amano (SF643D Project Coordinator).

You can see it in Japanese here:

    All-your-base-a-rific translation:

It has yet to be translated for NOA, but when it is officially translated it will likely be posted here:

Also, Hampshire College put on a play based on Star Fox 64. Here is the trailer:

You can watch the whole play from a link in an annotation in the middle of the trailer.

Interestingly, Fox is played by a girl.

    Teaser Paragraph:

Forum user SilverXy7 sent us a link to a new Japanese trailer.

This trailer gives us a glimpse of Star Wolf on Fichina (Wolf is wearing his old-school patch instead of his new SFAs one), Katina, Area 6, Macbeth, Sector Z, and Sector X.

We also get to hear the re-worked Star Wolf theme, which has a slight 6/8 time feel to it.

Also, the Japanese website for the game has opened.
